Replying for visibility, but what is the indication that those in the picture were liberal? You can be anti-intervention and conservative.

In this video, you can see it was organized by the American Union Against Militarism, a liberal and socialist organization.

That group became the ACLU. Interesting. So the ACLU would have been against intervention in Germany?

[–]Pass_the_BottleUSA 17ポイント18ポイント  (0子コメント)

Oh shit. What the hell did I just watch? This is some scary shit.

Remember when Howard Dean went "whoo" on camera and the media ripped him a new one and made him drop out of the race?

What the fuck, man. I didn't even hear about this Hillary seizure until today and it hasn't been blasted all over the MSM as it should be. Thank god for /The_Donald.

Well... yes. Presentation looks like the last part of a Jacksonian march.

Symptoms often associated with a Jacksonian seizure are sudden head and eye movements, tingling, numbness, smacking of the lips, and sudden muscle contractions.

It's a partial motor cortex seizure, which wouldn't be unheard of from the damage to her brain from the blood clot.

  2. Bernie has been threatened
  3. Hillary is not in good health

Bill was just drugged up on xanax or something.

1 of 2 things happened here.

  1. Bill was getting a blowjob.

  2. Bill was jerking it to his daughter.

Look to Bill's right, your left, and look at the eyes of the man trying not to watch.

Tim Kaine, however, he doesn't care. He sees that stuff all the time when other men plow his wife.

Edit:

Upon further analysis, the man who cracks the smile just as Bill blows his load was the person sexually gratifying slick Willie.

That's what I keep telling libtards when they say that war is the worst thing. It's funny because they always go "OH ..." Libtards have a very short memory, you have to remind them of things frequently.

Isn't trump anti war and basically isolationist? His viewpoint on foreign policy is pretty similar to the people in OPs picture. "We're not the world police" etc

[–]dispel_fictionGA 0ポイント1ポイント  (1子コメント)

Sometimes war is required. Being at war constantly, however, is not. This recent string of wars we've been in has led to the creation of ISIS. Iraq was destabilized and then we backed the rebels that tried to overthrow Assad. The gulf in power left room for ISIS to rise.

It's very different from helping a civilized place like Germany if they're in the control of a dictator. The Middle-East is still extremely primitive. If you get rid of the dictator, someone just as bad, if not worse will rise up.

Okay? That's great, doesn't have anything to do with my post. I'm not talking about my opinion on war, I'm talking about trumps. No ones even talking about Muslims here..

I'm just saying it's more likely that trump would have agreed with these protestors than not.

War is the worst thing. Why do you think so many of our veterans commit suicide? I am gonna go out on a limb and guess you have never been in combat. Shit ain't call of duty.

[–]dispel_fictionGA 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

I think you missed my point. Sometimes, refusing to go to war just ends up in worse wars. See: not stopping Hitler quickly.

I'm not commenting on the actual stuff that happens during war.

Try John Stuart Miller on them next time:

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded sense of moral and patriotic feeling which says that nothing is worth war is much worse. The man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Doing it from memory, may have missed a word or two, but you get the idea.

I criticized specific beliefs of Islam on /r/exmormon and got reported to SRS.

I didn't say anything about a race or culture. Specific Quranic teachings.

And it was "ur racist, not all muzlims." I trjed explaining that calling me a racist when I criticized ideas was their way of making Islam about race, which is racist.

Of course 30 seconds before and 30 seconds after, the complainers made identical criticism about Mormonism.

FDR- The Godfather of modern day liberals and the biggest cowards of the 20th century, along with Chamberlain. And not to forget the champion of Prison Camps for Americans of Japanese origin. And these liberals call Trump's humane plan to keep US safe as something preposterous. No wonder liberalism is a mental disorder.

Other things FDR did: Extended the Great Depression with the New Deal. Unemployment rose after the government started acting, and didn't go back down until WW2. Created the template for the modern nanny state. Unprecedented use of executive power to skirt around the legislature and judicial branches Got elected enough times that we enshrined the two term limit in a constitutional amendment.

Really wasn't as great of a president as everyone think he is.

Agreed. His saving grace are the immediate results. Winning the war secured prosperity, and forgave the many sins of his policy. Sure, they're terrible mistakes with huge consequences that echo too loudly today, particularly under Obama. But we ... Western civilization... lived to bring us to the present day. Now we need Trump to fix the Marxist left's mess.

Also the guy to give Stalin the sobriquet Uncle Joe, ceded europe to the Russians before they evenoccupied it, and by some accounts delibriately provoked Japan into war.

You do realize these were members of a group called America First right?

They're right btw

The America First Committee had its share of prominent businessmen as well as the sympathies of political figures including Democratic Senators Burton K. Wheeler of Montana and David I. Walsh of Massachusetts, Republican Senator Gerald P. Nye of North Dakota, and Socialist Party leader Norman Thomas, with its most prominent spokesman being aviator Charles A. Lindbergh. Other celebrities supporting America First were novelist Sinclair Lewis, poet E. E. Cummings, Washington socialite Alice Roosevelt Longworth, film producer Walt Disney, actress Lillian Gish and architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The many student chapters included future celebrities, such as author Gore Vidal (as a student at Phillips Exeter Academy), and the future President Gerald Ford, at Yale Law School.

It's support spanned the political spectrum. Even John F. Kennedy supported it.

No they don't.

They also don't realise that the hard left in the US was accused of being vehemently pro-war by them because "their homeland" of the USSR was being invaded.

History isn't a strong suit here. Wild accusations and memes are more the order of the day.

....why was the Eurotrash civil war our problem again? The only reason Japan attacked Pearl Harbor is because we committed numerous acts of war in the South China Sea to impose an oil embargo on them. I seriously think we would have been better off staying out if at all possible; America should be a giant Switzerland. Neutral about your problems.

They were not acts of war, they were embargos on Japan for their invasion and brutalization of China.

An embargo is an act of war. What Japan was doing to China was tragic, yes. Barbaric, certainly. But we don't want and can't afford the game of playing global police. Asia should solve the problems of Asia.

Well...Hitler did formally declare war on us the day after Pearl Harbor. You can be isolationist and still think WWII was justified considering Germany declared war first.

yeah he kinda has too ,thats how allies work

Eh, not really. Hitler made a really impulsive decision without any sort of consultation when he did it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_declaration_of_war_against_the_United_States_(1941)

According to the terms of their agreements, Germany was obliged to come to the aid of Japan if a third country attacked Japan, but not if Japan attacked a third country. Ribbentrop reminded Hitler of this, and pointed out that to declare war against the US would add to the number of enemies Germany was fighting against, but Hitler dismissed this concern as not being important, and, almost entirely without consultation, chose to declare war against the US, wanting to do so before, he thought, Roosevelt would declare war on Germany.

The war would've worked out a lot better for Hitler if he just left us alone and left us to fight our own disconnected war while he conquered Europe.

Well their allies(Japan) attacked U.S.A. and U.S.A. was actively blocking the German seafight. So it was natural for them to also declare war. That kinda justifies it for both sides.

Agreed. That's why I personally favor that third sign there and favor it still today. Let Europe deal with their own crap and we'll deal with our crap here. If it bleeds over and affects us directly, then yes, we'll go and kick ass, but otherwise, we should have no allies anywhere in the world - fuck em and let them pay for their own security and defense.

Nope. Sorry the Nazis would have won without US support to the UK and USSR and Nazi Germany would still be around today, except the Nazis would have Nukes. And whose to say they would not invest in tech and eventually come after the USA? They most certainly threw the idea around. Nope the world is a better place without the Nazis.

Also Hitler did declare war on us first... so there is that too

Stalin had nukes and we had a five decade cold war with the nuclear-armed USSR.

The reason it was five decades long and not still on going is because we got lucky that communism does not work as an economic system and the USSR Crashed.

The Nazis' while practicing Socialism would allow some capitalism which would provide some stability and allow them to maintain the status quo. The Nazis would still be here today, unlike the USSR.

The world is better off without the Nazi's.

Yeah but there are also still jewish, disabled, romani, etc people alive (at all) because of the lend lease act.

The USSR was just as bad as the Nazis. Maybe worse.

Because Woodrow Wilson decided to spit in the face of the founding fathers and send us overseas "in search of monsters to slay."

That set the precedent for us getting mixed up in Europe's bullshit politics.

It wasn't your problem at all. England tried to get you into war and Eisenhower also wanted to go to war, even though the majority of the population didn't go to war.
They made oil sanctions against Japan, because they knew that Japan had to either forfeit or declare war on U.S.A. With the pride of Japanese people they obivously chosed the second one. U.S.A. actually placed their ships around critical points for the Nazis which blocked them on numerous occasions and made the seafight really hard even without attacking. So there were actual Admirals that wanted Hitler to declar war on U.S.A. Which he really didn't want to do. He gave them strict orders that they are only allowed to shoot back if they get engaged on. So yeah Hitler had no intentions (yet?) to go to war with U.S.A. and U.S.A. provoked the Nazis and Japan to go to war.

Does anyone know why people hate Jews? They have been persecuted for thousands of years long before the founding of Israel. I mean, I know today there are some Jews in name only who run a bunch of mega corporations that are shady but every Jew I've met are cool as hell. Is it jealousy?

Different reasons but Muslims hate jews because Mohammed killed jews.

Not just that. Jews and Christians have "perverted" (I assume it meant demented in the usage of the word) the religion of Islam.

Does anyone know why people hate Jews?

people hate Jews

Everyone is hated by at least someone. Are you saying that Jews receive more hate than other demographics?

Well if you go back in history they were ran off or persecuted by everyone it seems. Egyptians, Romans, Muslims, Gauls in France, 1492 Spain, I'm sure there are many more. Then of course fast forward to Nazi Germany and now you can add liberals and conspiracy theorists to the mix. Muslims still going strong with the hate. It seems they always get shit on wherever they go. My hunch is they always do well and prosper and natives get jealous but I could be wrong.

Partially. The Jewish people are generally smart, business-savvy and intensely clannish. They're also the "people who killed Jesus," and that colored opinions for centuries.

Another part of the hatred stems from their traditional control of the banking industry. In Middle Ages Europe, Christians were forbidden from charging interest on loans. The Jews, still trying to recover from the Diaspora, seized on the opportunity to get into the money-lending business, as they were locked out of many other industries in Europe. They were, for a while, the only people who could run banks. This created a lot of resentment and started fermenting the "greedy Jew" stereotypes that came to such awful fruition in WWII. (And please note this is a drastic over-simplification; somebody else can probably give you a far better detailed answer)

I'm sure the Jews aren't blameless nor the Europeans completely wrong. Friction always forms between different cultural groups, so some of it was just inevitable.

More recently however, as part of the Jewish reaction to the horrors of WWII, they a) founded Israel, which many on the Left see as an irrational and evil state due to the hardline stance they have to take, and b) view any hint of nationalism/patriotism in politics as a return to Nazism, which is one of the reasons why they support the Left over the Right in many cases. Globalism represents a destruction of nationalism, which might be why we see prominent Jews pushing for it.

Again, oversimplification, but it all combines to form this notion that the Jews are trying to control the world. They do have a lot of clout in the financial world, so as political power shifted to Wall Street, it led to an increase in Jewish political influence as well. However, blaming the Jews is about as racist and unproductive as blaming white people. The problem isn't ethnicity, the problem is ideology, and support for globalism is a far bigger factor than the Torah.

(And of course, not all Jews fit into this mold, not at all. It's a generalization based off observable history)

Oh I see. So the thought is if the world abandons nationalism some people see that it could be a way for Jews to finally escape any more persecution by those nations. The whole world would be run by Jews. So they think the Jews want global domination.

I am absolutely not saying the Jews want global domination. But yes, some people do evidently think that.

However, globalism means that national borders cease to effectively exist and the "free market" runs everything. Depending on what angle you're coming from, essentially a globalist system is headed by corporations, unelected bureaucrats, or other entities unmoored from history, culture or ethnicity.

Lol. I definitely picked up on the fact you weren't saying you feel the Jews want global domination. But given how people easily misinterpret, I understand why you want to make it crystal clear.

Yeah, enough people think we're racist when we're not.

I'll speak for myself. Rank and file Jews I have no problem with. They complain a lot, but then my dad does too, so that gets annoying as hell after a while, but otherwise, they are fairly decent people who I can only stand being around in small doses until the negativity gets to be too much (same with my dad).

But the globalist ones (often called Zionists, and there is some overlap between the two groups) I oppose. Mark Zuckerberg is a prime example of a modern one, who wants to be in control of everything because "he knows better" than the rest of us mooks how to run our own lives. They often manipulate the political and economic systems for their own benefit or for the benefit of Israel specifically. They are also often in the top 1% of global wealth and plan to keep it that way, all the while trying to reduce the rest of the world to global socialist poverty. Again, their argument is that it is for our own good and that they are just smarter and more caring than we are and we should simply do what they say and not ask questions or oppose them.

So in the end, these are two distinct groups. Unfortunately, some folks conflate the two groups, but I personally hold nothing against regular everyday Jewish peeps who are just living day to day and doing the best they can for themselves and their families.

They do tend to be more xenophobic and insular than other groups in modern society - which if regular whites did so, would get them attacked as being racist or bigoted - so the fact they get a pass for doing so is a bit irksome - but they also vote overwhelmingly for Democrats, so I understand that's why they are allowed to preserve their culture to the exclusion of others while average white Americans are not.

If this was pre pearl harbor and before knowledge of the holocaust became widespread, I would have agreed with them.

Especially after the insanity of ww1.

Oh look, those idiot Europeans got themselves into another dumbass war.

Let them eat each other alive for all I care.

Exactly, this was an entirely different time and for the record they may not have been Liberals. As if everyone who protests a war, is a liberal. Please.

Besides this was most likely taken far before the USA or any other Allied country not directly affected even knew the extent of Hitlers crimes. Before they knew about the concentration camps and the mass killing of minority groups.

We didn't want to actually go to war for WW2 until our hand was forced.

But, people will see what they want to see.

The kind of shit we have going on right now with regressives and SJWs always seems to happen when a society doesn't have a bigger threat to deal with.

After WW2 this mentality in America was eradicated for 20 years. An entire generation experienced true horror and hardship, virtually everyone was touched in someway by the war. This shit only started creeping back in once their kids began to come of age in the 60s.
