(Appreciation Thread) Lads, we did good! (self.reddevils)

This will more than likely be deleted, but i really want to say to everyone that fair play to all on the r/reddevils sub. It has been a crazy transfer window but with our successful tier system and level headedness (i know that is debatable!) we managed to keep things grounded. We should continue with our attitude, enthusiasm et al. I frequent r/soccer often and through it all r/reddevils fans were on point. I guess that it comes down to the fact that we never believed that signing pogba would ever be a reality.We were self deprecating and good sport. Clearly, things are different now. I remember the year that kluivert turned us down and it hurt horribly! We've missed out on so many dream signings. That said, now we've got a dream signing which seems so far beyond everything I'm use to! Lads, I look forward to the new season with all of you peeps! I have lurked here for so long but i can't wait to be part of the forthcoming season and discussion. Lads, the new season awaits us.

Absolutely. Beats getting Di Maria & Falcao and not only on paper as I'm confident doing better than the snake and Radamel, who turned out to be a huge dissapointment, won't be difficult for the quality of the players we've brought in.

That's the point we managed to do all this business early. We signed 2 world class players and a 3rd 1 who is on his way.

Agreed, but if it closed tomorrow with pogba it still would be hugely successful. Don't mean to jinx it or anything. I just think that we judged everything realistically. Apologies if its a shit post, just felt that our attitude throughout this scenario has been praise worthy. Downvote if necessary.

We're quite heavy in the CB department atm but ideally I would like us to hijack arsenal's deal for mustafi. Home grown, and it hurts our rivals significantly.

I don't think we're as heavy as we think or would like. Smalling is good, baiily looks good but hasn't proven himself, jones is always injured and hasn't found form in some time, I like blind but we'll see what mourinho think and then there's TFM whom is young and we're not even sure if he's a cb.
