Meanwhile the post from /r/politics that is about Trump challenging Clinton to do a press conference has been on the front page all day. Further, within half an hour of Trump's AMA hitting the top of /r/all the ETS post made it to number 2 and has remained there for over 1 hour.

    I had a comment about some campaign ads I'd like to see made that were warmly received but didn't get a lot of eyes. I'm gonna repost it here. What do you guys think?
    I have a great idea! This commercial could help win the election if made right. We should make a video of dozens of Americans reciting different lines from your RNC speech and then edit it together with clips of Mr. Trump to make a very powerful unifying video. It's a genius idea for an hour long video that the campaign could then cut a few different ads from since Mr. Trump covered everything in that fantastic speech.
    It would be awesome to see trump supporters of every walk of life and every part of the country recite his words as their own. Cops, vets, teachers, moms... One after another showing how united this country is behind a man who is fighting for us. And as it continues the cuts speed up into a mighty crescendo.     Let the salty kids downvote. /r/enoughtrumpspam is a low user count, salty sub full of Hillary shills, Bernouts who really hate Trump and Neo-con's who are pissed off their shit canidate got BTFO by Trump in debates. If you were to take their numbers and divide them into who they support, I'm sure you'd see a huge divide. There numbers are an illusion, simply using hatred of trump to be their core talking about and seem united.

    TBH, I'm actually kind of disappointed with the AMA. I know he's busy and all, but I figured he would have set aside an hour to really answer some questions. Not just vague "MAGA" answers.
    I think this was a bigger success for Reddit, than for The_Don. Much gold was sold. Much money was made.

    I assume the reddit algorithm still weights /r/The_Donald more heavily than other subreddits. When it detects a large uptick in activity it dilutes that post's effectiveness to stay on the front page. We saw the initial spike, then the algorithm tweak they put in place last month took effect, and this is what we got. The most successful Presidential AMA of all time not on /r/all.

    Just reading the comments, the people at /r/EnoughTrumpSpam seem like some of the nastiest people on the internet. But I guess it makes sense, because you have to be a certain kind of person to be able to justify all of Crooked Hillary's deception, corruption, murder and rape enabling. I have to say that I appreciate how much they underestimate Trump, especially since they are now losing. They're going to make it even easier for Trump, and they don't even realise it.

    What's hilarious to see is the response of the admins who pulled the post from the front page when it's by far the most voted and commented on this site has seen over the past six months. Once again the regressive left shoots itself in the foot by making sure it is their response to Trump and not necessarily Trump himself that dominates the conversation.

    It's stuff like this that makes me miss Victoria. Think about how much smoother this could have gone if someone from Reddit coordinated it (that's not saying it was uncoordinated, but Reddit has a different UI and it takes a moment for people to wrap their head around it). I don't even think they have pulled out her replacement after the disaster of a Bill Murray AMA.

    /u/spez you're a piece of shit. How can you say that you don't do censorship, when the ama was removed from /r/all. And then coincidentally, /r/enoughtrumpspam just so happens to get an /r/All spot. With only 50% upvote?
    Why would you even remove it in the first place if it wasn't censorship?! If Trump really was a racist, was sexist, was a aweful person, then he would've showed it in his own account, which he didn't.
    Lastly, if /r/all wasn't changed just for the purpose of censoring /r/the_donald, then that's fine I can entertain that thought; why shouldn't the AMA be on the front page?! It's a fucking AMA for a presidential candidate. It doesn't matter what you believe, getting insight in the head of a presidential canidate is crucial to helping voters decide who to follow.
