Upvote if you are a strong Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, who don't need no DNC.

I've never gone deluxe... Is it better than regular?

I think the tomato takes it to a whole new level

The tomato and pepper jack cheese add some awesome flavor, and the lettuce gives it a good texture in my opinion

Meh, deluxe adds lettuce, cheese (American or Peper Jack) and tomatoes. I don't really care for their lettuce, it is too leafy, its just one or two big leafs. Not chopped at all. I also don't eat tomatoes, so that's a no go. I also don't think their cheese adds much to the sandwich.

I prefer just the regular, but I would say it might be worth it if you like cheese and veggies.

If you're looking to try something new and you like the spicy, give the spicy grilled sandwhich a go. Its not on the menu but they will make it for you. It's delicious. I usually have mine with honey roasted bbq sauce.

it really improves upon the tried and true chicken sandwich

The wheat bun takes it to a whole new level of yum yum. And if you put their ranch salad dressing on it you will have an astral projection.

Chick-Fil-A is a major sponsor at the Wells Fargo Center where the DNC is being held. They have their logo painted on the ice for Flyers games FFS. If you didn't want them there, as a vendor, you shouldn't have had your convention in the Wells Fargo Center. It's like going over to a friends house and flipping out that they bought the wrong brand of chicken tenders. It's not your house, you're a guest.

Here in houston we get to eat chic fil a at the ballpark and its barely upcharged at all. I think the only additional charge is to cover the cost of making them offsite and bringing them into the park.

I love chic-fil-a

Having just eaten Chick-Fil-A yesterday, I'm outraged I don't have any right now.

These are the real problems that we need to address. We need more Chik-Fil-A vendors on-site at your place of business. We need Chik-Fil-A at gas stations. We need Chik-Fil-A to-go late on Saturday nights to make it to Monday.

My university has a Chik-Fil-A on campus.

But is it free? The government needs to provide Chik Fil A to everyone because the 1% has so much money!

Puts on Best Sanders Impression *

I find it... unconscionable... that the top 1%... has so much Chik-Fil-A... and the working class... has so little.

Waffle fries have been the cornestone of the American dream. Just the other day, President Obama and myself shared a nice pint of Polynesian sauce. It was delicious.

I wish there was a Chik-fil-A near me at all. Closet one is about 3 hours :(

I live in Michigan and there is only one here that I know of, not too close to me. Was just in Florida and couldn't wait to get a spicy chicken sandwich there.

Where's the one that opened up in MI?

Isn't there one at Oakland Community College, or is it Wayne State?

Rumor is two are being built in/around Lansing.

I also went to Chick-Fil-A yesterday. Spicy Chicken with no pickle.

Let's just cut to the chase. They don't like Chick-fil-A because the owners are Christians. That's what this is all about: they hate everything to do with Christianity.

They don't hate Christianity, I don't think. Some of them even claim to be Christians. I think it's just the vessel for their fascism. If you don't think and do as they do, then you're wrong. Christianity hasn't fallen in line, so they have to attack it and its followers. If there were a Pope of Protestants who were to say, "Gays are cool. Trans people aren't mentally ill. The rich get richer.", we'd see quite a different reaction to Christianity from the left.

I don't think that's the case. I think it's that they have this doctrine of de facto oppression. If a group of people holds a majority, then they must be opressing the minorities, otherwise they would be the majority. Contrarianism is built into their worldview.

Thank god protestantism doesn't have a pope. Although we do have Joel Osteen.

[–]orangebloodGoldwater Conservative [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

That's silly. Chick-Fil-A is delicious. And they treat their employees, of all ages/races/gender/sexual orientation, awesome.

"They’re the type of company that closes on Sunday, puts money into lobbying against the LGBT community, and for that reason I will never support Chick-Fil-A until they change their ways," Sacco said.

Dems say all the time that they aren't against religion, and then he explicitly states that the fact that they close on Sunday is something to hold against them.

But I think we all see the real reason... he's a closeted Chick-Fil-A lover and once went there on a Sunday expecting a delicious chicken sandwich and went away empty-handed. I mean, I've moved left on a few particular issues over my lifetime, but even if I ever became a full-on progressive I could never give up that damn amazing chicken.

Regardless of religion, if we all culturally decided that we should stop doing business on Sunday and spend that time with family or community fellowship, we'd all be better for it.

Of course, try telling that to the church crowd that bombards the lunch rush at ever restaurant around town on Sunday at noon.

Germany does it pretty effectively... There's just nothing open except a gas station or two.

Yeah, you have to go to some sort of travel stop to get milk if you are out on a Sunday. I understand you don't want your workers to be abused, but it certainly makes life inconvient for others.

A lot of south america is like that. As someone who was once stranded in the southernmost port in Chile, I can attest, it is no fun to be there on a sunday.

While there certainly be family and community benefits to not doing business on Sundays, I wonder what we would be the effect on all the people who need to work or run their business on a Sunday to make ends meet.

I'm gonna bet that most people won't do less business. They'll just do it different days of the week, so I don't think business owners would be affected much. Smaller business would benefit from not having to work 5-8 hours on Sunday just to stay competitive.

As for retail workers... I guess there would be fewer hours in the week, but if the business is making the same amount of money... then I guess we get into a deep discussion of wage effects of a 12% more competitive labor market would office the owner's need to staff the extra day every week.

No one really likes to argue for economic shrinkage, but I would say that any economic growth that came out of expecting retail workers to be staffed that extra full day every week wasn't really socially worth the sacrifice.

Whether it was born of pure obedience to God, or if it was more of a "God's idea taking a day off was actually pretty good idea for society" thing, or even if it doesn't come from a religious idea at all, I'm glad Chick-Fil-A has stuck to it.

Edit: I'm not standing a box and preaching for all retail doors to close. I just wish it was more the norm instead of the exception. And it would be nice if the church folks actually had to go home and cook.

I'd wager shutting down mostly every sector for one day would absolutely have large and negative effects on our economy.

Especially seeing as people can't spend money if.. Well... Everything is closed.

I mean, there are unbelievers working on Sunday, and who wants ti cook after church.

I forget that Reddit average age is " just out of pre-school..."

We've done this already, every on hated it it. Check out Blue Laws and then "Bust The Blue."

When I was a kid in the 1970's, most things were closed on Sunday. Grocery stores were open, but you couldn't buy everything. You'd be checking out and the teller would ring up food but set birthday cards aside (just my one particular memory). There was a big push with the slogan " Ban The Blue" to get rid of them. Not sure of the exact year or if federal or states issue. But when they went away I remember the malls being open on Sunday and people going crazy with glee over it.

Now I personaly think it should be an individual businesses choice. I specifically use businesses that close on Sunday, because I feel they treat there people better (Discount Tire, Chick-Fil-A and a few local places).

Edit: called my mom... Because I was a kid at the time. It was on a state by state basis, but generaly happend late 70's and early 80's. All or most states still have some sort of 'blue laws" but generally much less restirctive than earlier. In Texas, Bust the Blue was a statewide campaign pushed by a large hardware chain that wanted to be open on Sunday.

Exactly. I've craved chick fil a, driven there only to realize it's closed. If there's ever a reason to hate them. That's the reason. And that's the time.

But I can never stay mad at that delicious chicken.

So the owner has a different opinion and simply doesn't agree with you. For that, you are upset they exist? GTFO that's insane. I hope they never get to taste Chik-Fil-A. What kind of bigot says "Someone is different so they should be banned." ???

One important thing that I think has been overlooked by people scrutinizing this event. ...

"They’re the type of company that closes on Sunday, puts money into lobbying against the LGBT community, and for that reason I will never support Chick-Fil-A until they change their ways,” Sacco said.

They are the type of company that closes on Sundays and that is one of the reason sacco does not support them. A buisness having operating hours which allow their employees to practice their faith is a reason for boycott in a democrats eyes. It's pointed at Christianity too., considering sunday their traditional day of worship. I bet theyd have a collective Orgasm at the thought of a buisness closing for 20 minutes 5 times a day to allow for muslim prayer.

The lgbt community is quicker to vocalize that they are "offended" more than any other organization. LGBT people, stop being a little bitch.
