Sherman's were death traps. And you're stupid to think anything else. Just ask the mechanics that worked on them. They remember having to crawl inside a Sherman and scrap blood off the walls,and removes limbs. And the Sherman wasn't a death trap? They could see first hand the devastation caused by the impact of a Kwk 42 75mm,or a 88mm. Hell,even the Panzer IV's armed with the shorter 75mm could take on a Sherman at respectable distances.
