I don't really feel anything for Nintendo, it's like a sinking ship and ever since the Wii U reveal, I've been getting a sort of schadenfraude feeling . I remember saying "...wow, that gamepad looks awkward." And being unimpressed. Around that time I joined this subreddit and there was a hardcore nintendo downvote squad. I was disappointed with the Wii U and thought "this is gonna be terrible". It actually sold less than I expected and had less games than I thought it would have. The console was quickly abandoned by EA and Ubisoft. And when the PS4 was announced, the Xbone controversy came... And the Wii U was already on life support waiting for Smash 4 to save it. 2015 came and it was a good year for Wii U owners, but somehow, it felt like the Wii U had nothing else to offer. And I was right, the Wii U had nothing left. Nintendo keeps thinking it's smarter than the rest of us, and they've convinced themselves their ideas are crazy innovative, sure, their consoles are gimmicky but their games are the literally the definition of playing it safe. Sometimes fans don't know they want something and that is partially correct, but it's like their market research is terrible. Do they only ask their hardcore fans who buy anything with nintendo on it? Why not ask any gamer? How can they be so ignorant? I know they're not going under, but if somehow, the NX fails and Nintendo goes full SEGA, I sure as hell will be buying their titles for the first time since the N64. Zelda looks like a combination of multiple AAA RPGs and I dig that
