Also I believe all forms of fiction are worthy of serious study the way great works of literature are. Great stories come from respecting the intelligence of your audience. Why would he write off the medium he works in? why would he do this for a living if he didn't believe he was creating something of worth?

I believe that someday classrooms will discuss what it means that Captain Walker and his men always walk downhill in Spec Ops: The Line, the same way they discuss what the green light means in The Great Gatsby.
