Mino Raiola has cancelled Paul Pogba’s Manchester United medical, according to reports in Spain.

The Old Trafford club have agreed personal terms with the France midfielder and a fee with Juventus, but there is currently an impasse between Raiola, Pogba’s agent, and United over his enormous commission.

While United still expect the deal to get done, Raiola has moved to startle the Premier League giants by cancelling a medical that was booked in Miami.

Madrid-based sports daily AS have revealed that Pogba was due to have a full check with Dr Italo Linfante of the Miami Cardic and Vascular Institute.

However Linfante, who is currently holidaying in Europe, has been told not to cut short his vacation by Raiola as the deal teeters on a knife edge.

Despite recently closing the transfers of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to United, the 48-year-old Italian agent is putting the Old Trafford club through the mill if they are to confirm the world’s most expensive ever transfer.

Juventus will receive €120million for the 23-year-old midfielder who joined from Manchester United on a free.

Raiola was soaking up the sun with the 23-year-old at the pool of what appears to be a luxury holiday mansion on Monday.

Pogba posted an image of the pair and included a cryptic message on his caption, saying: "we say it all by saying nothing at all".

Juventus boss Max Allegri was asked about the mooted pricetag for Pogba on Tuesday, meanwhile.

Allegri first burst into laughter, before saying that he has no say in the valuation of the player.

He said: "That’s what it is, I don’t assign prices to players. Each player has a value some low, some high."
