Just think about life in general.

You're born, you're sent to kindergarten, then school, then highschool, then college/university. From ages 0 to 20 you're pretty much not conscious and just a robot following a routine.

Then you need money to survive, so you get a job, and you need a place to stay too. So odds are you're in debt, like the average person.

You still haven't had a chance to question the world, but you're horny, so you go out and bang chicks. Hopefully some of the negative shit you go through gets you to question, but if life is easy then you'll probably just get married without really questioning.

It's only when shit hits the fan do you start questioning everything.

Got a new disease? Why me? Shit my nutrition/lifestyle is garbage, better change that. Maybe I shouldn't live out of a cubicle for 60 hours a week.

Got cheated on? Why me? Shit, maybe it's not me, maybe it's women after all.

Paying high taxes and not getting anything in return? Why me? Shit, maybe liberalism is bullshit after all and governments are corrupted. Now I know why older people tend to vote conservative/libertarian.

Basically, for the most of your life you're not even a conscious human being, it's only when you face obstacles and pain does it make you question everything which causes you to CHOOSE a path.

If you don't choose, someone else will choose for you.

Self introspection is redundant.

is it that easy to infiltrate the male mind?

Yes. Even now and even among MGTOW, consider how many men are sold on the "be a good son", "be a good husband" and "be a good father" narratives that demand a lot from them and make them vulnerable emotionally and financially but give little in return.
