He's a proud pro Poo-Plunger! Here's a toilet plunger that shows your support of clean water & sanitation efforts around the world.
About this project
It all started with a joke...
In the summer of 2015, while working in the production office of a TV show, Carl and AJ were laughing about a crazy idea of a fun plunger that looked like a friendly poo.
“I mean, the poo shape is already there…" then Carl asked, “Why has no one made this?” He paused for a moment... “Why not us?”
Being the natural networker, AJ reached out to an old high school friend and several months later an office space joke became a real and serious company.
We here at The Plunger Project want to introduce you to our first idea, the Poo-Plunger™.
Admit it, your old and dirty plunger is boring, disgusting and is a major eye-sore. That’s why it’s hidden behind your toilet, out-of-sight out-of-mind.
The Plunger Project wants to change the perception of this essential tool. The Poo-Plunger™ is a cute and effective new plunger that will instantly bring new and fun charm to your bathroom.
This is the perfect gift! Holidays, birthdays, graduations, house-warmings, weddings and maybe even an anniversary - everyone will laugh when they gaze into Poo-Plunger’s friendly eyes.
2.4 billion people do not have access to proper sanitation or clean drinking water*. This is a continuing crisis that is getting worse every day as this earth's population increases.

Risks and challenges
Realistically, here are the 3 most likely challenges to this project being successfully completed after funding:
1. Manufacturing problems – Manufacturing can require a lot of expensive trial and error, with cost of materials and availability of essential tools changing regularly. This is why we've built in a margin for error into our Kickstarter goal, and also why we have already established relationships with local manufacturers who want to work with us and can deliver at the promised price even in difficult circumstances.
2. Design flaws – While we have gone to every effort to predict how the plunger will properly function in the real world, the reality is, we're Kickstarting this because we have never seen this kind of plunger cup before. That means that unpredictable problems with the design might arise. There is a risk, that one of these could be problematic. However, by using the most advanced computer aided design and 3D printing and testing our prototypes, we've minimized this risk to the level. We've already worked through many issues and don't plan on stopping if we hit another road-bump. We will always keep you updated of new developments.
3. Illness / injury / death – Unlikely, but this is a small team and it's always possible that something could happen to one of us. That said, we have a team that brings strengths and accomplishments beyond what any one individual could achieve. In the event of something getting in the way of one us completing the project, we are all committed to pulling together, taking up the slack, and ensuring this project gets done. Period.
Is there some other potential issue you're wondering about?
If you're wondering, others probably are, too! We'd appreciate it if you'd email it to us at
help@plungerproject.com right now and I'll personally make sure it gets answered for you.
If you would like to see the Poo-Plunger change the world, as much as we would, then pick your reward level now and we look forward to making it
happen with you.
Thanks for your support!
