Spotted in Miami recently, Paul Pogba decided to go full “Lebron James” kit wanker. He certainly has the cajones to do that in Miami given Lebron used to be a Miami Heat player. Props to him. Speaking of balls, Pogba was also spotted in Venice Beach shooting hoops with Belgium and Everton player Romelu Lukaku. Showing off some decent moves, both will not look out of place in the NBA. Question is, with Pogba being so athletic (1.91m tall) and sprightly, can he actually dunk the ball? Based on the video, apparently not, although he did certainly show some fantastic defensive skills by blocking one of Lukaku’s attempts to score. Damn! Get out of here son!!
Have you ever wondered what’s the connection between these players when they have never played in the same team before, neither are they in the same national side but they just happen to be two mates chilling out in LA together. Such are the lives of multi-millionaire footballers. Perhaps they speak the common language of “French” and “Football” and both appear to be prime transfer targets this summer. Pogba certainly seems relaxed for a guy whose future seems uncertain at the moment – will he stay at Juventus or is he Manchester United-bound?
If he does indeed come home (United), I believe he will the final piece in Mourinho’s jigsaw that will see the team push for the title in the upcoming season. Having honed his skills over the past 4 seasons at Juventus, where we saw him turn from a wonderkid into a full fledged world class player, United, for sure, will have to shelve out a world record transfer fee to complete the signing of the summer. With the recent release of United’s squad numbers, there was even a hint as the #6 was left free – Pogba used to wear that number in Juventus (for 3 seasons) before switching to #10 in the 2015/2016 season. Or could it be a link to the jersey he used to wear at United i.e. #42 –> 4+2 = 6. Boom.
Speaking of United transfers this season, there seems to be trend going on here – we seem rather keen to sign players from teams that wear YELLOW:
Coincidence or Conspiracy? C’mon, Pogs, it’s time to come home. Fulfill your destiny and be the talisman to drive United back to the glory days. The challenge may also have been laid down before him via a pep talk/briefing with Zlatan over dinner:
Will he finally come home? Hey, he will even have a new mate to Do The Dab with!
