I fail to see any team in the world who Pogba wouldn't improve and all this bullshit about "we could sign XXX" is more tiresome than anything. I don't think anyone is enjoying being kept in limbo but everyone just needs to calm the fuck down and carry on mashing the F5 key in silence.

  • £33m + £35m(Pjanic woould have cost us 35m anyway) +(You cant get world class player cheap) world class player1 who is rated £50m + another wc player2 rated £40m... = £158m(188m euros)..

  • Where Pogba would cost us around £120m(inc. agent fee i.e 142m euros), now we still have £30m, we can buy Fabinho for £20m and spend the remaining on backup CB.

EDIT: Now Marca is reporting that Pogba's indecisiveness is paralyzing the deal and AS reporting that Pogba is giving ZZ signals that he really wants Madrid. I really hope we've given the Pogba deal a deadline of the end of the week or something so we don't get jerked around. There is a lot of other things we can do with 120M.

Not at all. Does everyone really think you close deals of this size in a matter of days? Negotiations are a constant back and forth. What do you think happens when you reach a block? Juve want x amount of money, Utd don't want to go that high and offer y amount- does everyone just give up or say yes right then and there? No they don't- there's always an element of waiting it out to see who budges first. Do you think that the numbers involved are just plucked out of the air? No, they are meticulously calculated. IT doesn't matter that Utd has a ton of money- you don't get to have a ton of money without being meticulous in how you use every penny.

How long does it take everyone to buy a new house, a new car, a new TV? Think about that multiplied by about 1000000.

The problem here isn't the length of time taken for the deal to be done- it's the expectation of some people that these kinds of deals are done in no time at all.

Juve are not a selling club and they don't need the money in general, and they don't want to lose the player. They are not in a weak bargaining position. If the deal falls through they get to keep a world class talent for another year and they can afford to. So they don't have to just accept whatever Utd offers.

In fact no club has to hand over its players just because Utd are bigger or because we're all impatient to see our shiny new toy.

It's still tiresome, nonetheless. And as ardent fans we can't help constantly check for updates. I'm bloody weak when it comes to United, can give it any longer than an hour before checking again. That's why I'm tired of it all!

You're asking two things here.

1) Yes absolutely every single person who supports United is tired of this Pogba case.

2) Ok cool, we could have signed all of these players, but they're not world class. That term is thrown around way too often here. I think there's 2 maybe 3 world class players in each position. Maybe you can make a case for Kante being one of the best destroyers in the world. However, due to lack of other attributes in his game, I don't think he's a world class midfielder, but a world class destroyer.

Let's, for arguement's sake, say that Kante and Pjanic cost £30mil each. That leaves us with £40mil. You think we could get 2 world class players with £40 mil? Hell, Pjanic and Kante aren't world class for a start. Both brilliant players, but world class?
