The Goal is to build an actual church online that holds service out of Stormwind Chapel in the game World of Warcraft.
About this project
An in game ministry; Jesus for a group of people in a place they never thought they'd find it. A ministry tailored by gamers for gamers housed in a popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft. As the Church grows we plan to have our own public server to run. We keep track of members and the church will be a spiritual guild that prays and stay together. I am an ordained minister spreading the gospel in a way no one has thought of before but effects so many of your children on a daily basis. You don't need to own/play the game to attend services. Services on Sunday will be held on live stream on YouTube and the recorded adventures of the creation of the church in the game will be documented on YouTube as well. This will be connected to a physical church in the future, but will always be tailored to reach an audience that many people have forgotten about. There is no place the Lord can't go.
Risks and challenges
Well I guess people taking me seriously is one of the challenges I expect, and trolls. I feel called to do it though, and my faith in this project is solid. I grew up from a christian gaming kid into a Gaming Minister that can reach and influence children in a positive way.
