And we still only lost it on goal difference.

For the money and players City have/had at their disposal, they've only won the league twice because the dippers and ourselves shat the bed in a major way. Not terribly impressive in my humble/bias opinion.

It leaves a pretty sour taste in my mouth for a number of reasons. Mainly because of the last day, being champions for a minute or so. The Everton game.

Soon after the end of the season the love of my life (or so I thought) left me without any warning. Her mum was ironically a city fan and I remember being in their pub watching us lose to Wigan (the beginning of the end) and being absolutely furious. All these turn of events actually left me with pretty bad anxiety that I hadn't realised was just bubbling under the surface.

Also having to walk through the city centre soon after with all their fucking parade celebrations about. Sickening.

Also, what was even fucking bigger deal to me was Palace (after the first city goal - to tie) from the kickoff just kicked it into the voided area behind the backline for city, essentially giving them the ball back with several minutes left. Could have very easily retained possession for a little and fought out a draw, but it seemed as if they wanted city to win that game.
