And we still only lost it on goal difference.

For the money and players City have/had at their disposal, they've only won the league twice because the dippers and ourselves shat the bed in a major way. Not terribly impressive in my humble/bias opinion.

I was more referring to the context of the time. Our spending has skyrocketed post-Fergie, but back then it was pretty low.
