I don't think they are overblown. He is a disciple of Roy Cohn, Joe McCarthy's lawyer. He learned from him to bully people relentlessly, and to use the legal and political systems as weapons. People who fight him are overwhelmed. So he gets away with crazy shit, over and over.

I have never seen an election where a candidate actually threatens opponents, but he has repeatedly. He said Hillary "has to go to jail". He said McCain "has to be careful". When asked why, he added, “He’ll find out.” He isn't joking, people should understand that he means it.

this is a fantastic resource and i thank you tons for it! my moderately conservative grandmother is voting for trump out of spite for hillary, who she believes is a "criminal and a snake". she doesn't enjoy following the news and asked me to put together some candidate information for her and this is immensely helpful.
