You can't say that a person with a low attention span ISNT dumb! Alright? You guys don't wanna hear it but I'm sayin it! People who play fallout 4 and actually ENJOY it for more than 30 minutes are FUCKIN IDIOTS who, let's be honest here, you wouldn't want to trust with your life. Let's say you were stuck in a SAW-style death trap and you had to choose one of two people to pull a set of levers in the perfect sequence, solve a riddle, then solve an algebra problem so that it could free you from the death trap (the other person gets fuckin killed). One of them plays Fallout 4 all day, and he says he enjoys the graphics and he says he can play the game for hours without getting bored. Another one plays Fallout 4, now this guy says he rates Fallout 4 9/10, he enjoys the storylines and the great character arcs as well as the solid gameplay, he's invested countless hours into what he says is a really great RPG game. Who do you pick? If you pick the fallout 4 retard, you deserve to die frankly.

Oh wait there is no fucking apocalypse in that shit game! You know what? I liked Fallout once upon a time. FALLOUT : NEW VEGAS. It had dialogue that didn't suck. KARMA. It had KARMA, UNIQUE KARMA. It had HUGE dialogue, not small, Fallout 4 style ones. It had complexity. It had RPG elements. I can go on and on and on, people. You're blinded by amazing gameplay and fun, which, I know this isn't what you want to hear, are factors that do not make a game good. And don't even talk to me about dialogue. The dialogue gets old after an hour, 3 hours max. A person on that thread told me that the level of system in W3. Can you really talk shit about that games leveling system (which I've personally had no problems with, it's perfectly fine,) but Fallout 4's is basic as fuck. You level up and then get better perks. Wow. Oh hey and don't fucking even mention the stats. Just don't even talk about them (hint: they're shit.) Anyway, in the Fallout 4, you level up, you invest points into one of three categories; damage, signs, and alchemy. You can also get these mutagens which you get from looting monsters, and use them to enhance the abilities you get from investing points into the three categories, and the mutagens get stronger and better the harder the enemy you looted it from-- you get the fuckin picture. Lastly, someone in that thread said something along the lines of "all the quests are the same in Fallout 4; you are told to kill a guy, you kill a guy, you get money." My reply to that particular comment, I feel, was completely appropriate. That statement was absolutely retarded and exactly what I'd expect a Fallout 4 player to type out with their cheeto dust encrusted hands (I know what you're thinking: ironic. Yeah well fuck you.) As I was saying, that statement was dumb because the quests and countless side quests, while they do share some of the same outlines and layouts, are all different with their own unique STORIES. Yeah something you'd never find in Fallout 4 other than the little sliver of what could've been a decent story you see in the beginning (and btw: I bought FO4 at full price, 60 fuckin bucks, it was not worth it) Anyway, you've all probably heard all this criticism before haven't you? There's no point in going on (and I CAN go on, believe me.) Reading this won't get you to stop saying Fallout 4 is a good game. Yes it does have some commendable things like Todd Coward and old music and the gunplay. But the game itself (because it is a GAME, people, not a fucking art gallery) is lackluster. I've basically been repeating what everyone has been saying ever since FO4 came out. So, in closing, sell FO4 if you have a retail copy, it will not ever be good. You're all waiting for some magic DLC to come out to make the game good. Nothing will make the game good unless they release an update that makes it exactly like Fallout : New Vegas, Old World Blues and all.

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because that comment gave me cancer anyway.

That's what you want out of life? Cooked breakfast, perhaps a feminine wife, and children who respect you? In exchange for the rather ridiculous commitment of practically all of your time. There already is something better on planet Earth than women: videogames, the internet. A nigh obnoxious amount of mental energy, insight and creativity was required to establish the paradigm of internet pornography, you can enjoy it for 15 minutes a day to satisfy your primal urges, and then you're done. Art/entertainment is practically a concentrated form of man's soul, with the explicit goal of being superior to "reality", maximizing value faster and more efficiently than say... taking a walk in nature. It's only less fun if you surrender to the anxiety that you're a "loser", perpetuated by... cultural brainwashing, absorbing ideas and notions without considering them objectively. If you wanted to maximize "fun", you would fix your mind and play videogames (and enjoy other concentrated, super-value peaks of effort only available in a civilized society with specialization, division of labor). If you wanted to maximize "meaning", you'd either opt to maximize "fun", or you'd opt to solve the whole dying problem, because living for a thousand years is actually more meaningful than living to 80 and dying surrounded by your loved ones, contrary to whatever rationalizations you hear for why having your soul permanently annihilated is totally a good thing and it sure would suck if we all were immortal. All the fruits of eons of civilization, such massive, concentrated value, and you're going to throw it away by surrendering to your primal urges, without even really considering whether you should, as if it's just the default, obvious thing to do? You might not be able to choose whether you're born anysexual, but you can choose to not act upon it. You can certainly avoid getting married and having kids. There's a genuine potential for us to make things that are way better than the internet, videogames, if... if we don't waste all of our time and energy on playing savages. There is so much more to the world than getting married and having children, the small happiness you might gain from it is not worth so much of your time and effort. The fruits of civilization started outweighing the fruits of evolution (sex, and so on) decades if not centuries ago. Update your preferences, ideals, to something that is more compatible with the modern age, something that terminates in more value than whatever ideals were reasonable in the Stone Age.

Wow, Dishonored 2 is in the top sellers list and it's still a ways off of being released. Do you realize the impact preordering has on the game industry. Check out some youtube videos that cover this way better than i ever could. Basically it shows time and time again that marketing campaigns and cgi videos to create a hype is way more effective of creating sales than a polished and complete gaming experience is. Look at Arkham Knight, Star Wars Battlefront, Farcry Primal...ect. Have you seen more than 5 minutes of gameplay that was just released at E3? There will be no reviews til the day before it's released so how do you know that the game is any good? And the preorder bonus you say? Well the definitive edition is better than most i'll grant you that but it's $20cad. and if you're buying D2 then you probably already have D1 so what a great deal? lol anyways my rant is over, thank you for your time and consideration in this matter P.S. I just had a few things to add here, I just wanted to comment on the lack of gameplay footage on the store, you get the CGI trailer and a few screenshots and that's it. Pretty minimal and hard to get a good idea of what the meat of the game is. Im not saying this game is gonna suck but it's a media trap in it's current state. Secondly if some of you agree with me and those that don't we have to show these Devs that we have the power in this industry, We have the money, We pay their salaries, which for some of the AAA devs are 6 figures+. A hell of alot more than most of us.
