Found an interesting article archived (http://archive.is/CqfwI/ "here") regarding the cycle of HIV infection in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa.

The official narrative is that, you guessed it, its all men's fault.

Rich older men are 'sugar daddies' or 'blessers' and provide young women with resources in exchange for sex. Due to the imbalanced power dynamic of these relationships the girls are just innocent victims who go along with whatever he says. The article mentions that girls don't even bring up condom use because they don't want their sugar daddy to think they are too promiscuous.

Further down the article mentions that young men in the same age group have a much lower rate of infection. Clearly they aren't getting sex from these girls or you would expect to see a more equal rate of infection between the sexes. Then goes on to say that as the infected women reach their thirties (the wall) they infect men who become the next group of sugar daddies and then cycle repeats.

Hypergamous young girls want nothing to do with guys their own age. They instead go for mid 30's men with resources that they can exploit. Once they are all used up and infected with an incurable disease they finally come around and start fucking guys their own age.

TLDR: Hypergamous sluts spread disease, but its all men's fault.
