Silly season has returned for the 4th summer on /r/reddevils!

Most of you know the drill.

For those who don't...From today until the window closes, a transfer round-up & discussion thread will be made every day. In these threads, ANYTHING can be talked about. Any player, in or out, any transfer fee, anything!

Now, with these threads starting, this means that rumours submitted as separate posts will be removed unless they are from reliable sources!

Luckhurst (I know) from MEN said on 20 July that Raiola was supposed to fly-in to finalise the deal: (https://twitter.com/samuelluckhurst/status/755848845729361922).

I know it's MEN, but they got Mkhitaryan's flght details on point.

So, could Raiola be flying out of Heathrow? I know there is a BA flight about to land in Miami from LHR.

I'm writing a preview of United's season for /r/soccer and I really want Pogba to sign so I can finish it.

Would people agree that Mourinho's big challenge is deciding how to line up in midfield? Like how does he get the best out of Pogba and Rooney?

4-3-3, 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1. The number of midfielders and the way they position themselves will determine Pogba's impact along with which players will be sold.

The big challenge is Rooney. He's a technically accomplished player with the ball at his feet. But he's shown for the last 3-4 seasons that getting the ball under control at his feet, and moving with it at anything approaching top gear, are feats he no longer has mastered. He is a static player in an attack geared around pace -- Martial, Rashford, Memphis, Lingard.

With Pogba signed, the midfield writes itself.

I have to say, the pessimism I see over everyone tonight (Admittedly not here as much as RedCafe) is making me angry, have some faith FFS. Do they really think Mino will take an 8 hour flight (Or even a 10 hour flight followed by a 3 hour one) just to present an offer from Real Madrid to Paul? Even when this could be done by the phone and there is nothing in the Spanish press about Pogba and Real? I will believe the Real Madrid interest when I see it, so far I didn't see a thing.
