I have a theory that Ben Carson is such a brilliant neurosurgeon because he forbids any other type of factual knowledge to take up room in his brain

Why doesn't Walt just get life insurance? Why is Jesse entitled to half of Walt money. Jesse is he worst character, so frustrating to watch

Why the hell does Walt Jr. Choose to go by Flynn after the fugue state? How does he not get ridiculed mercilessly for giving himself a nickname? And fuck, how does skylar not have a job when Walt makes only 43k?

Why the hell does Walt Jr. Choose to go by Flynn after the fugue state?

He's an angsty teen

How does he not get ridiculed mercilessly for giving himself a nickname?

Maybe he lied and said people call him that?

And fuck, how does skylar not have a job when Walt makes only 43k?

She had a job (with Ted Beneke), but when the show starts she's like 9 months pregnant and not currently working.

What a disgusting spectacle to listen to. The roll call was on the radio as I was in the car, and to me, there's something so awful about people squealing with joy to support a fascist.

They plagiarized tonight too, this time by Donald Junior.

The original's here.

Edit: Yeah, the author apparently helped write the speech so doesn't count as plagiarism

Still counting it as kind of funny for lack of original ideas though

Unfortunately the writer of the article wrote the speech, so it's kosher. (Or whatever the Alt-Right says instead)

[–]Sporz 4

Yeah, I edited my post. Thanks.

What would the alt-right call "kosher" I wonder...

Islam is a no go as well. Maybe they'd use "Straight-Edge" since they don't support drugs, and stuff but seem like they could have a few neo-nazis as well.

Said this in another thread, but I'm extremely excited about Republican progress at this convention. Two days ago if you asked me whether you could get republicans to clap for a Michelle Obama speech or pray with Muslims I'd have said it would be impossible.

Hats off to trump in this regard.

That guy: Yeah, I'm for Trump, like those Jews that were made honorary Aryans.

Exactly.

"Muslims for Trump." Dear god who are these poor folks who are defending haters of their own religion?

Next they'll tell me there's a "Jews for Hitler" organization.

[–]RedCanadaI cucked John Miller 7

Next they'll tell me there's a "Jews for Hitler" organization.

They called these people "collaborators."

Don't you mean "Quislings"?

[–]RedCanadaI cucked John Miller 1

That too.

Interestingly enough, there were not a small number of Jews who were very nationalist. They didn't support the Nazis because of anti-Semitism, but there were nationalist Jews. Check out The Coming of the Third Reich by Richard J. Evans. That whole trilogy (and the smaller The Third Reich in History and Memory) is very excellent. Well cited and in depth, but not too academic for the average reader.

Also Hitler's Jewish soldiers

In the most accurate graphical representation of the RNC convention, Republican delegates covered up and tried to take a sign from a protester saying "No racism, no hate".

Lucifer. An adult is seriously talking about lucifer.

Saul Alinsky. A totally relevant person in 2016.

I know Bill Maher is a huge asshole, but he put it a great way:

So I Wikipedia'd the guy. Instantly I discovered the problem: he liked black people. Way back in the 30's, he started organizing the Civil Rights movement, and as a historian like Newt Gingrich will tell you the Civil Rights movement was a huge burden on white people.

[–]kalinka_davai_davai 9ポイント10ポイント  (3子コメント)

Cruz can put together a compelling speech that is completely self unaware. I can't think of a time I sat through a single speech from Frothy though.

Milo just got permabanned on Twitter folks

          https://www.buzzfeed.com/charliewarzel/twitter-just-permanently-suspended-conservative-writer-milo?utm_term=.iewdgDggb#.xpgOBJBBY

          Context from the article folks:

But this time — according to Twitter — he’s gone too far. This week, Yiannopoulos led a harassment campaign against Ghostbusters actor Leslie Jones, which led to the SNL cast member’s decision to leave Twitter. The tweets, many of which targeted Jones for being black and a woman, were the final straw for Twitter, which is taking steps to try to solve its harassment problem.

If at first you don't succeed (because your work is terrible), play the victim. EVERYONE GETS HATE MAIL FFS https://t.co/W572qB4Vqw — Milo Yiannopoulos ひ✘ (@Nero)

Barely literate. America needs better schools! https://t.co/cCAEI5Ks7w — Milo Yiannopoulos ひ✘ (@Nero)

          Twitter team's response:

People should be able to express diverse opinions and beliefs on Twitter. But no one deserves to be subjected to targeted abuse online, and our rules prohibit inciting or engaging in the targeted abuse or harassment of others. Over the past 48 hours in particular, we’ve seen an uptick in the number of accounts violating these policies and have taken enforcement actions against these accounts, ranging from warnings that also require the deletion of Tweets violating our policies to permanent suspension.

We know many people believe we have not done enough to curb this type of behavior on Twitter. We agree. We are continuing to invest heavily in improving our tools and enforcement systems to better allow us to identify and take faster action on abuse as it’s happening and prevent repeat offenders. We have been in the process of reviewing our hateful conduct policy to prohibit additional types of abusive behavior and allow more types of reporting, with the goal of reducing the burden on the person being targeted. We’ll provide more details on those changes in the coming weeks.

Basically, Milo led a little harassment campaign against Leslie Jones (like he does for other targets) over fucking Ghostbusters. He lost a crucial element of his social media presence as a journalist over fucking GHOSTBUSTERS.

You missed the pre-show, the Hillary Hate Rally. Don't worry, it is part of the infomercial too.

I know it's her dad, but I still feel like she is trying to sell me an 1972 Pinto and reassuring me it won't blow up.

Hillary has the most damning roles in the issues in Haiti and Honduras than all the countries he just mentioned, but he didn't mention them. Why is that?

And now Christie is literally holding a kangaroo court on the floor of the convention. Holy shit.

I like how they're barely talking about Trump, just hating on Hillary. That definitely inspires confidence that they'll get serious policy work done!

Their hate for Hillary outstrips their love for Trump, that's pretty obvious at this point. It's really disgusting. This is basically a hate rally.

Having watched yesterday's coverage. I think the GOP made it a requirement for all speakers to: rag on Hillary and Muslims and praise Trump

I'm getting fucking chills. This is like the goddamn French Revolution.

is that the best comparison? I first thought a Nazi rally, but I'm not sure they did call and response.

French revolution might bet better. Anyone else have ideas?

I'd love to be able to do side by side Nazi video, but transcripts from something else might work.

Def feels like a nazi rally. A whole lot of propaganda no real plans other than destroy the "enemy" ( any american that opposes them) etc. Etc.

Except the French Revolution wanted to move forward. The GOP wants to take us back several decades.

well technically the reign of Terror was a part of the French Revolution

Christie keeping the GoP tactic alive of praising dictators. Gaddaffi was apparently doing Libya so well Clinton destroyed it herself.

                Gaddaffi was the African trump.

Starting a chant of "lock her up" at your convention? Really Christie?

Demanding the opposition candidate be put in jail. That's not fascist at all.
