My respect for Ted Cruz tonight went from 0 to .000001.

That's .000001 more than I ever thought I would, but you gotta respect a man for getting up on national television, gamble his entire political career and reputation, and telling a stadium full of people to go fuck themselves.

He didn't gamble his career, this was a move to build it. He's figuring Trump is will lose and wants to be the next anti-Hillary in 2020. He looks principled because he didn't just roll over and expose his belly like Christie and Rubio (I'm not convinced Carson has actually known where he is for a couple years now).

Still funny though, and worth it just to watch the Sad! look on Trump's face.

Though I disagree with Cruz on lots of issues (and even going on national television and saying so), I find him to stick to his words. Never does he betray the principles he lives by, and that's something admirable. Let's just thank Ted for standing his ground in this whole fiasco. He will be on the right side of history.
