Seeing your title, I was convinced this was a shitpost.

But I got to reading and I am a bit confused as to whether or not this is bad.

But yes, if you're looking for discussion, Mou indeed does well when he's incharge of transfers. And it is a proven fact that he is a winner, a leader, and a goddarn Red Devil!

Not the best of titles. Just sharing a few thoughts and my enthusiasm about the season that's about to start though.

Well he isn't exactly playing the underdog, regardless of how we have done recently Man Utd will always be front runners and buying Ibra, Miki and Pogba will hardly leave us in the underdog bracket, with Pogba we would be expected at a top 3 finish and probably more.

Barca as well won the battles with Real during Mourinho's time there, they won the CL they won more leagues than Real in those years. Mourinho also had the most expensive player in the World at his disposal and an amazing team around him and I would argue he was brought in to end the Barca dominance and to win la decima which he failed to do.

Plus there is nothing to indicate he will stay here and create a legacy, he hasn't stayed anywhere for too long so far and any though on him trying a twenty year reign is total speculation.

I am as happy and as hopeful as the next guy on Jose but ffs I think you are being a bit too over the top optimistic. Jose has a lot of flaws that can't be denied and at the minute it is his job to make us all forget about the last 3 years and to forget about his last year at Chelsea.

The club and the manager both need redemption however and they should be a perfect fit for each other, but where Jose goes drama is never to far behind.
