I double checked in posts to see if anyone had done one of these this year. Couldn't find one and we always do something like this before the start of a season.

I'll start Schneiderlin/Blind/Carrick ahead of Herrera to partner Pogba.

Only the 100th line up thread this week but

           Ibra
 Martial  Rooney  Mkhitaryan
    Pogba  Schneiderlin
Shaw Bailly Smalling Valencia
          De Gea

would be my choice. Darmian for Valencia and Schweinsteiger for Schneiderlin are 50/50 for me

Same as you but I'd go 4-3-3 with Schneiderlin as a single pivot and Pogba next to Rooney. Would prefer to see Herrera next to Pogba but we all know Wayne will have to play.

That would be my favoured lineup as well, but Mourinho has already said Rooney will be behind Zlatan and he won't play CM.

Yup unless we are winning 4-0 there needs to be a defensive minded midfielder in the team (which Pogba isn't)

I feel like this is Mourinho's plan, but doesn't it force Pogba into playing defensive? How can it work to let Pogba play box to box? Could Mourinho be contemplating 4-4-2? I'd say 4-3-3 looks like a good option, but he has already said Rooney will be behind Ibra and not in midfield.
