Could someone explain to me why Pogba wouldn't be great in a similar role to what Fabregas had at chelsea?

Schniederlin would be able to play DM just as Matic did, allowing Pogba to roam forward.

This would still allow Jose to use is preferred 4-2-3-1

No doubt he'll at least try this. May move to the 4-3-3 but I would be surprised if he doesn't run this with rooney at the 10 at the start.

4-3-3 with Pogba as an 8, Schneiderlin at 6, and Rooney as a 10 would be our best midfield IMO

Yeah but I've read many comments saying that we'll have to go back to a 433, he can only play advanced CM act ect.

Probably because Pogba is best on the left side of a midfield 3. I'm sure he can do the job in the advanced midfield position.

Most people are saying that because of his performances for France and the fact that he played in a 3 man midfield at Juve or had the protection of a back 3 behind him.

Thing is, he wasn't played on the left side of the two man midfield for France and that's his preferred position.

That's exactly what his role will be. Question is whether Carrick, Bastian, or Morgan plays next to him. My money is on Carrick to start.

Carrick's the best bet if for progressing the ball forward but he's old. We need to replace him with someone with similar ability to pass between the lines. Only Blind can rival him in our squad, but it looks like he's not physically up to the task of being a Premier League DM, even though he's probably the most intelligent player we have.

Pogba will relish that role. I've been hearing a lot about what formation we should play to accommodate our big signing. However, having seen him play for Juve all last season I can assure you his best role is to be given freedom to roam and do as he pleases. Think of him as the CR7 of Central Midfielders. He's one of a kind. He can be Iniesta, he can be Pirlo, he can be Busquets if we need him to be. He's got it all. He can play 6,8 or 10. He's even played inverted 11. But to get the most out of him Mou needs to let him be Paul Pogba.
