Anyone worried about the dressing room (self.reddevils)

I think the problem we had last season was not just in the goals department, but also the attitude the players had and it was a bit of a bore to watch. But with the new signings of Zlatan and Pogba, they both have big personalities, is anyone worried about whether they will get along?

I think there are sufficient glue guys like Lingard and Young that we'll be fine, plus Zlatan is a serial winner. His persona is just that - a persona. I suspect he's very business like in the dressing room. Pogba is a goofy dude, will fit right back in with Lingard, Shaw, Memphis and co.

I have to disagree with that. I think last season we still had good players and it was just the environment that LVG had created was very hostile and was one of the biggest factors to our poor season

Remember '99? Some players then didn't see eye to eye in the dressing room, yet assisted each other on the pitch regularly. I forget who exactly, it was Cole and Sheringham iirc

Zlatan seems like the guy you love if he's on your team and hate otherwise. Mou and Zlatan get along. Pogba is actually pretty level headed for such a popular youngster. Mata seems to be fine coming off the bench so far. Rooney has been a team player, however I'm most worried about him. May not see the field much and after what I read about him throwing LVG under the bus makes me worry a little. Overall I think Mou is a huge team guy so if your going to be an asshole and hurt the team get out, we have a good bit of depth.

Last season there was some attitude the players had towards the manager, not any clashing ego's however. Don't think ego will be too much of a problem this season, most of the players in our squad have everything to prove

What's the worry exactly? Zlatan came to United specifically to link back up with Jose and he know how the manager operates. And Pogba already knows what United is about, has friends in the squad and probably knows some friendly faces around the club. So I don't see why they'd come in acting like they own the place.

I think the worry would be resentment from other players concerning the wages, but like I said, Pogba's got friends, Zlatan's only signed on for a year, and both are top players who can help win games.
