I actually agree , these super agents are not good for football but unfortunately they aren't going anywhere

Yup you have to deal with them If you want the best players

Probably stay for 3 maybe 4 years depending on how many times we win the league and UCL...then move to barca/madrid, we get back a huge chuck of what we paid, spend it on the next new mid

A couple seasons under Mourinho, Pogba can win some silverware and develop further and then go to Madrid for a similar fee and a few new trophies to add to the cabinet.

I'd say it's a genuine worry. It'd be the ultimate stitch up if we could convince all 3 to ditch him after they've signed but can't see it happening. Would be funny though.

If we pay him enough money he'll shut up. He's not going to force a move for one of his clients if he gets a gigantic agent fee for them signing a new contract.

Yes, but if he gives us some important trophies in 3-4 years then I guess he can leave. What is important now is to get the fear factor and the champion mentality back. Heck, if he leaves us in 3-4 years and he's better, then that'll cost em more than 120m.

Of course. But he's loving doing business with us, all of those delicious agent fees. The thing is, we're just going to keep getting richer, and richer, and the PL is just going to keep growing, and growing. He's going to want to stay on good terms with us if he wants to do business in the future and pick up some more free money. It's absolutely going to get to the point where no-one is going to be able to compete with United in terms of financial clout barring a complete financial disaster.

So in short, yes, we need to be wary of him to an extent given his history. But given the level of business we've conducted with him this window he's more of an ally than an enemy at this point.

A lot of clubs have limits on the amount of players from certain agents. It's not good for one person to hold a lot of invisible power in a dressing room.

If he gets pissed off he can really push all of his players out.

We'll have him for like 3-4 years and then sell him for 150-200m when the market gets even more insane

The way I see it Ibra will be gone in a year or two, Miki will be starting to decline in 3 years or so IMO so we'll get the best years out of him, Pogba is the only player we have much chance of losing to him and honestly if we paid 100 Million for him, got 3-4 years of him and then sold him for 70-80 provided we won a few things I'd be perfectly happy with that.

I've read Zlatans book and in each case he has pressed Raiola to get him a move, not the way you've stated.

Ajax-Juventus - Ajax had him on a poor contract, Juventus are a huge club so was a reasonable career move

Juventus-Inter - Juve had just been relegated due to the scandal. Zlatan wanted to play his peak years in a top league

Inter-Barca - It was Zlatans dream to play for Barca which Raiola made possible for him

Barca-AC Milan - Pep didn't want Zlatan hence why he was sold at a loss of nearly 50m euros after good season

AC-PSG - Not sure what happened there as the book concluded before then

PSG-United - Contact was up, wanted to play in the EPL, wanted to play for Mourinho, wanted to play for us as we could afford his wages with ease.

We should. That's why we keep our friends close and our enemies closer.

Copy and pasting what I said in another thread about this:

The only Raiola client where this concerns me is Pogba, but it should be up to us to make sure that if it does happen, then we should be getting a massive fee out of that transfer, like Juventus are doing now. All of this assuming Pogba does move to United in the first place, which is still a huge if.

Assuming Mkhitaryan stays 3 seasons with us like he did with Shakhtar and Dortmund, he'll be 30 by then. I'm not sure he'll have a lot of big teams after him at that age, unless he's been brilliant in those 3 years.

Ibrahimovic won't be a problem at all in this situation.
