With the tournament being somewhat anticlimactic with a lot of people being absent it didn't really work as fluidly as we all hoped. We have contacted the website and they want to help us.

So, what should we say?..

• Countdown timer to games
• Ability to record the scoreline!!
• A new system for FIFA - like having to input whether you are the home or away team before you are able to ready up the home team or the way team so these headaches stop happening

It's a mystery how they haven't got this right in the first place but they are willing to help us so we may as well take advantage of it. What do we need?

I also need to ask if people would be generally alright with paying a small entry fee. This can be done and the prize distributed and handled solely by the website. The post I made earlier on it on the tournament thread got an okay amount of attention to suggest it and here is why:

1. No shows. Would you not show up if you had paid £2 and made sure you were free for 2-3 hours?
2. £2 in, potentially £50 back. Sounds like fun.
3. In principle its only only once, maybe sometimes twice a month and shouldn't really have an impact on anyone here.

We will not start charging an entry fee unless this is what enough people want; we really don't want to change the atmosphere around the tournament in general by asking if people would be happy paying entry fees. Even if people do then after the website has been updated we will make the official trial run of the tournament free anyway AND promise to buy the winner of one of the three different console tournaments (how this will work will be decided later) the new home shirt when it comes out with whoever they want on the back. If that proves my point.
