Gonna take a little while for Mou to implement his system seeing as he's not even worked with the main squad yet that much but you could already tell the difference in the approach that we took. We pressed well, moved and passed well, and looked pretty solid defensively. Can't wait for more games and hopefully traction on the Pogba deal, one way or another.

This. Movement was the biggest thing for me, Van Gaal's system, apart from being very slow, was rigid in the extreme. This often led to just no movement at all in the final third, was great to see runs and switching positions all over the place

I think if he played in a 3 he'd really excel. He wouldn't be world class but like we saw in previous seasons(specifically that run of 12 games in LVGs first season) he's a handful all over the pitch. Gives his all and loves the club. Think partnering him with a DM and someone like Pogba would be brilliant.

Was happy to see everyone get some time. Miki looks like a top player, not that I didn't expect as such. Think Lingard might end up complimenting him quite well.

Mou on the sidelines more in one pre season game than LVG for 2 years.

Was good to see some fast, forward passing with what we've had to put up with this last 2 years.

I don't think Wilson has a future with us. Didn't think so in 14/15 and still don't think so. Might have a career like Shane Long or that but don't think he is good enough for us.

One thing I have to say is people are constantly praising Lingard for being hard working and being a good link up player yet everybody seems to be happy Welbeck was sold because he was not good enough. They're carbon copies really. both hard working, good at linking up but neither can finish.
