[Slightly Off-Topic] Announcing of kit numbers (self.reddevils)

I'm a relatively new United fan -- one of my buddies grew up a fan and has sucked me in over the last two or three years (I know, fuck me right). This, combined with the fact that I am a poor college student who's been saving for grad school for a few years, means the only United gear I've managed to snag is a ratty pair of throwback Umbro shorts off eBay that don't even fit. All that being said, I've saved a bit of money and was looking forward to buying a jersey (EDIT: I'm American, kit = jersey) but would prefer a "real" one with the correct name and number on it. If anyone knows the best way to get a quality jersey, as well as when the official squad numbers will be announced, I'd really appreciate it.

Just wait till a few days before the season and check the website. They'll announce the official numbers then as they always do.

Edit: you can get them online from the United store/official Adidas stores and such in the US as well I'm sure or even online. But wait for the numbers since that's what you want.

The official store is probably the best place, as for when to get it that depends very much on who you want on the back, someone like say De Gea or Rooney are almost certain to keep 1 and 10 but maybe Memphis would change his number? If you want your own name that's simple and you can do it on the site whenever the kit comes out.
