You're taking it off context, to fit your narrative of course. This was during the ancient times where there was war against the prophet, his people and the like, and that translation is also inaccurate in some ways, while also completely ignoring (of course it does, because if it doesn't it won't fit your narrative and would invalidate your sentiments) the context, reasoning, further delving into the timeline, situations that were present then and such. For anyone else who's keen, it was a part of the story as to how the disbelievers then opposed and attacked the prophets, slaying their people and such so this was then a commandment to retaliate and uphold their own lives in a war that was waged against them first...

But you've made up your mind it seems so it's pointless trying to show you things which you'll clearly close your eyes to and pick apart translations which would select your own agenda. You clearly picked from a site that is meant to depict Islam as violent and ignore any form of contextual relevance or such...

Oh and as far as the bible goes:

1. Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the [holy man] who represents God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged.

2. I decided to order a man to lead the prayer and then take a flame to burn all those, who had not left their houses for the prayer, burning them alive inside their homes.
