Do you have $1? Are you ready to join forces in the largest, most dynamic collaborative music video ever created? Then read on my jazzy friend.
MAKE IT COOL Is the title track from the upcoming debut EP by Los Angeles based party-anthem band, Enormous Forces (my band!). Matthew Boman & myself are gearing up to direct EF’s next epic MUSIC VIDEO which will be produced and imagined by YOU!
A great video starts with a great idea, so imagine what hundreds, or even thousands of great ideas could do for this video! We're asking you to donate your brilliant ideas and your hard earned dollar to MAKE IT COOL.
Here's a short excerpt from the song MAKE IT COOL...The title track to the debut EP by Enormous Forces dropping in November 2016.
We’ve set our goal at what some might say is a modest amount for a video production. We’ve got enough equipment and resources at our disposal to MAKE IT COOL with only $300 - however we could MAKE IT COOL x10 with $3,000 and we could MAKE IT COOL x100 with $30,000.
Although $300 is our stated goal, the SKY'S THE LIMIT!
Every dollar donated to MAKE IT COOL will go directly into the production of the most bizarre, most colorful, most insane and randomly-interconnected music video the world has ever seen!
That’s right people, we’re making big time Hollywood moves here!
A $1 Donation gets you the ability to submit a one word idea to the concept of the MAKE IT COOL music video. Therefore your financial and intellectual contribution to the project makes you a producer of the video! Every dollar donated grants you another word you can submit to your idea for the MAKE IT COOL music video. Check out our other levels of rewards (to the right) and see what other goodies you can get depending on your level of donation.
- Every idea contributed will be influencing the concept/vision/and direction of this video. Some ideas may be more prevalent than others, but every idea will be interpreted by the directors in some capacity.
- Since our budget for this Kickstarter video was $0, it features some imagery that we borrowed from old magazines, royalty free video sites, and bing image searches. This is so we could illustrate our point, and MAKE IT COOL with NO MONEY AT ALL...Moving forward, we plan to make the MAKE IT COOL music video with all original content, a legitimate work of art we can all be super proud of!
- Keeping in the spirit of coolness we will omit any overly offensive or hateful ideas, duh!
The spirit of this project is one of extreme collaboration. With so many un-cool things happening in the world, what could be more cool than people working together to create a positive impact? Let’s DO THIS! We need all your great ideas of where this video takes place, what happens in it, what kind of characters do we have, what color palette do we use? Lend us your dollar and your idea and help us MAKE IT COOL.

Risks and challenges
$300 may sound like an unreasonably low goal for making a music video with so many random ideas involved...However we are creative activists and are thrilled by the idea of this challenge of weaving all these ideas into something extraordinary and cohesive.
It is of sound belief that Mr. Boman & I’s technical & improvisational skills, matches that of what is needed to wrangle such a wild project with so many ideas coming from so many people.
We want your involvement to decide where to set the level of production value expectations for the final music video. That's part of our reasoning behind setting such a low goal.
