Nintendo of AmericaおよびNintendo of Europeは、ファミコンタイトル30種類を内蔵した“Nintendo Classic Mini”を、2016年11月11日に発売することを発表した。

内蔵タイトルには、『スーパーマリオブラザーズ』、『ゼルダの伝説』、『メトロイド』、『ドンキーコング』、 『パックマン』、『星のカービィ』など30のタイトルが収録。付属のHDMIケーブルでディスプレイ出力し、電力供給にはUSBケーブルが使用されるとのこと。価格については触れられていない。
現在、日本国内での販売は未定。ぜひ国内での発売にも期待したい。
