Ahh that Ronaldo goal against porto.. I remember watching it, and as soon as I saw him hit it I lept to my feet. I then screamed for my mum to come in the room because she had to watch this goal, and for a woman who doesn't like football even she appreciated the sheer beauty of it. 7 years has flown past.

Is becoming a subscription only community an option? I'm not sure how reddit works in terms of manageability but maybe this could tackle both issues:

  1. People would be logged in all the time and more inclined to vote/comment

  2. There would be less bots on the sub/trolls etc

I do this myself (not the /new stalking). I'll take note and try to be more generous with the upvotes. You have to admit though, on certain posts people will even comment to slate the OP. Maybe this is something you guys could look at in terms of moderating? I don't see a place for it under any circumstances really, even shitposts..

If you want tickets for an away game I would suggest using Stubhub or Viagogo. Have used both with success, albeit extortionate success.

To be fair looking at this perspective holds some truth, but my main issue is the fact that genuine people who only want to obtain information innocently will see their post at 0 (25%) and no replies and delete their post. Shitposts 'for the bantz' should be deleted and rightfully so.
