Young Manchester United defender Jimmy Dunne has signed for Burnley on a two-year contract, with the Turf Moor outfit holding the option for a third year.
The 18-year-old has followed the path of fellow centre-back and Academy product Michael Keane by heading to Turf Moor to link up with the the newly-promoted Clarets.
"Michael Keane is someone I look at to try to improve and I haven't got talking to him yet but he's similar in terms of being tall and lean," Dunne told Burnley's official website on Wednesday. "He’s been through a similar format at Manchester United so hopefully I can learn from him."
After making 23 appearances for the Reds' Under-18 team last season, and 21 of them as a starter, the Irishman has made the move on a free transfer.
Everybody would like to wish Jimmy well for his future career.
