Man Utd agree to terms with Paul Pogba? Man City snag Leroy Sane?

The guys answer your tweets about Brendan Rodgers, Roy Hodgson, Manchester United and baseball.

With the summer transfer window upon us, rumours are picking up steam. Transfer Talk has its finger on the pulse when it comes to the latest gossip -- follow our live blog below and see the latest deals here.

Top Story: Man United agree to personal terms with Paul Pogba?

Manchester United seem to be wasting no time in setting up new manager Jose Mourinho for success. Having already landed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly, Spanish newspaper Marca reports that Paul Pogba has agreed to an astonishing £211,000-per-week deal with the Red Devils.

All that's left is for the club to agree to a fee with Juventus for the France international, reportedly offering £101.5 million to get the deal done.

Mourinho is determined to land the 23-year-old as United look to leap right back to the top of the Premier League. After strengthening in central defence and up front, United's central midfield looks to be their weakness, and Pogba would undoubtedly represent a massive upgrade on the likes of Michael Carrick, Morgan Schneiderlin and Wayne Rooney.

The new United boss said in a recent press conference that he'd be making four signings this summer, and with three already signed, sealed and delivered, the powerful French midfielder would make a superb closer to this star-studded quartet.

ESPN FC's Craig Burley can't believe Cesc Fabregas is linked to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea target 'Gabigol'

Antonio Conte has just begun at Stamford Bridge, but while the new Chelsea boss is still figuring out the Wi-Fi password at the training ground, he's already targeting one of South America's hottest talents.

The Blues are hopeful they can land Santos' sensation Gabriel Barbosa, and the Mirror reports they have already tabled a £25m bid. It won't be easy for the Blues, mind you: "Gabigol" is the prize jewel for the Peixe, who want to extend the 19-year-old's contract by two years until 2021.

Conte usually operates with two centre-forwards and has already added Michy Batshuayi and hopes to retain Diego Costa despite Atletico Madrid's interest in luring their former forward back to the Calderon.

Have Man City landed Leroy Sane?

Pep Guardiola is beginning to shape his Manchester City squad after his unveiling at the Etihad last week, and the Spaniard looks set to add Leroy Sane to his squad.

Thursday's edition of German newspaper Bild says that City have won the race for the Schalke winger, with a £46.5m fee likely required to prize away the 20-year-old.

Bild suggests City have beat out Bayern Munich for Sane, with the Bundesliga champions floating the idea of taking Sane next summer.

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti says he wants to see how Antonio Conte will handle Chelsea's star players tactically.

Chelsea's Kante pursuit intensifies

N'Golo Kante is attracting a great deal of interest, and Chelsea are keen to land the France international after submitting a new £29m bid, according to the Telegraph.

The 25-year-old has already rejected a new contract offer from Leicester, with the Foxes likely to return with an offer that tops £100,000 per week. But would that be enough to retain his services?

The Premier League champions were discussing the Blues' bid on Wednesday on their preseason tour in Austria, with Conte keen to make Kante an integral part of his Chelsea revolution.

Kante would be a fine addition to a midfield that struggled to assert itself in 2015-16, with Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas both suffering significant dips in form. The likes of Kante, a combative, do-all player with an endless stamina and good reading of the game, would be the perfect link between defence and attack.

Tap-ins

- Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas has joined Fulham on a season-long loan, both clubs have announced. The Czech Republic was rumoured to be heading for a third loan spell with Middlesbrough, but instead he agreed to a temporary move to Craven Cottage, where he will be managed by former Chelsea midfielder Slavisa Jokanovic.

- Sunderland are targeting PSG's Youssouf Sabaly after the right-back impressed on loan at Nantes last season.

The Ligue 1 champions will loan the right-back to Sunderland, who will then have a £5m option to make the move permanent next summer, according to the Mail.
