Please tell me that when we aren't paying for a football stadium none of voted for and were forced to pay for, or when Minneapolis doesn't put far more money into the state budget than it gets out. Now, I'm not going to say we pay more per capita compared to the rest of the state, I don't have any knowledge of whether thats true or false, although I honestly think it would be false. Minneapolis DOES however, have the largest tax base in the state, and up to the most recently available records has paid out more in state taxes than it has received. I realize my previous comment came off as hostile, that was intentional, I was and still am pretty pissed off with people who don't even live in Minneapolis showing up and trying to tell us how to live our lives in between trips to the strip mall.
