Pretty much. It's very standard to see "you can't do that because you're not black!/insert PoC type here" and then when you clap back with "well how come PoC can do X, Y, or Z when white people originated it?" you'll get a bunch of bull about how white people didn't originate anything and just stole from everyone else >.>

Because Bob is a PoC - in today's society if you criticize someone who is a PoC you're either racist or prejudice.

I agree though. I don't really like Bob. I enjoyed him in his pre-show interviews and in the first few episodes but he tends to not stop talking (reminds me of that one kid in class who designated themselves the class clown and NEVER stopped cracking jokes to the point where you want to strangle them) and seemed to get praise where he shouldn't have, and the editing was much too transparent when it came to him.

I feel like you need to figure out if it's coming from a place of hate or a place of cheekiness. I think anyone should feel like they can joke about anything so long as they're not actually being hateful about it.

There's a big difference between them calling gay guys faggots and calling each other faggots or calling something faggot.

I get that the word is grating but eventually you have to remove it's power by learning to desensitize yourself from it. It's hard, I know. I hate how so many young gays/lesbians use "queer" to identify themselves because that word has had negative connotations my whole life but I have to accept it because it's not going anywhere - much like people using the f word, unfortunately.

But in all seriousness this is one of the reasons why Michelle annoyed me so much in Season 3 - her critiques were like...dumb. Alexis looked PERFECTLY like a hip hop girl would look.

I'd seriously like to see a world where Alexis' look wasn't Hip Hop but Raja's look was closer to Punk because it's not this one. >.>

Well we'll have to agree/disagree because if you're presenting the argument that it's "an alternative to paypal" it's misleading.

Not really. They are not imaginary because as I said, if a kid did have 20 dollars to donate and used bits, the streamer would get less. This is an actual loss whether you approve/disprove of scenario. I definitely do think if a fan intends to give the streamer 20 they should get as much of that as possible. That's apparently where you and I differ.

Twitch is being very greedy with this system. Some flashy graphics are not worth over 25% extra. That's ridiculousness.

If they wanted to create an alternative to paypal? That's fine. But jacking up the prices? Not fine.

That's not what I was saying. Not everyone who is on Twitch has jobs/old enough to spend money willy-nilly. A parent could end up giving a kid an allowance of 20 dollars and if they choose to spend it all on bits, the streamer would either be screwed or make less if they did accept bits.

It's like if someone is hungry and you buy a cheeseburger but instead of giving them the cheeseburger directly you take a large percentage of it and then give them the remainder saying "well, you got food so you shouldn't complain."

Rose isn't Manila's color, IMO, she'd have done better with Diamond/Topaz. I don't feel like she could serve Banjee girl bling but she'd ace Executive Realness.

I think Trixie has this. Trixie has shown to be good at doing costumes/concepts and she'd probably make the entire thing funny/creative.

I think Willam and Katya would struggle here with Thorgy getting a safe.

Banjee is not necessarily a black thing. To serve "Banjee" realness is to serve hood rat realness I.E. a woman from a poor area wearing stylish clothing. Hood rats can be white, latino, or black. :)

A streamer would be dumb to not use it though.

For example, the streamers in the beta currently would be dumb for not using it because it's a new system and people will be testing it/buying bits for the meme and using them. Thus not using it would be an income loss.

And if a streamer were to disable it...how long before some people would be like: "Oh I would have donated but I only have bits and you have them disabled? -_-" it would happen.

Again, it's a system that if you don't have it active it punishes you, and if you do have it active, it still punishes you because you're getting less (potentially) than if you were just donated to.

Yes, people are losing money. That wording isn't "bogus" what's bogus is twitch's big cut of the pie.

And I believe I gave an example in the above that successfully counters what you've said so I don't feel the need to rehash it.

Because it's an absurd cut of money for Twitch & if someone is limited by the amount of money they can spend and chooses to use bits, the streamer gets less than if they would actually have just donated outright.

Yeah like you said - the smaller the donation the bigger they take. So you'll end up losing more from bits than Paypal, which is an issue.

As I said - they can use it but it'll hurt the streamer.

Because say if I wanted to donate 1 dollar to the streamer. I'd have to spend 1.40 to buy 100 bits, so the streamer would get 1 dollar and twitch gets 40 cents. I have to pay 40% more money for the same donation amount.

Or say if I have 20 dollars I want to donate and I buy 20 dollars worth of bits, which is $19.95 - the streamer only gets 75% of that amount, 1500 bits aka 15 dollars, while Twitch gets to pocket the rest.

I know you don't HAVE to use bits, but the fact is there are viewers who like the flashy stuff / young kids on twitch who will use it and lose more money to give less to the streamer.
