So dwarfs are all turned to stone according to the lore. This is a game with magic; all it takes is a line of NPC dialog saying "and a great spell was cast that turned the dwarfs back into living flesh!"

I think Tengu are my least favorite of the options because I would feel like I was playing with my food. I can imagine all the names: Big Bird Two, Kfc Bucket, Wing Man..
