Powerful words. I hope his most die hard supporters take them to heart.

I love Bernie. I voted for him. I donated to him. I wish he were the Democratic nominee. I was pretty bummed when it was pretty clear that he wouldn't pick it up. But what he's done this whole time, he's done more good in this primary than anyone who didn't win has ever done.

What good came out of McCain in 2000? Of Howard Dean in 2004? Of Clinton in 2008? Of the multitudes of Republicans in 2012 and today? What did any of them really do to change their party? What issues did they raise that others were silent on?

Bernie Sanders will probably never be president. But because of him, we're really talking about wage growth. We're talking about real universal health care. We're talking about infrastructure, university tuition, minimum wage, and campaign finance reform. And we're talking about all these things in the terms that he laid out.

Because of him, the Democratic Party has the most progressive platform since the New Deal. He didn't win the votes, but he won the debate.

What remains is to actually implement the platform he fought so hard for. Clinton is the president that would implement it. Voting for anyone else would be turning my back on Bernie and everything I've been fighting for with him.

I wish I could have voted for President Sanders, but I will vote for a President Clinton without a hint of hesitation.
