What am I strawmanning?
I
just
explained this to you.
You're attacking a strawman i've never even remotely mentioned.
The OP's post isn't a strawman. Women who go into Gender Studies instead of STEM are the ones complaining about the lack of women in STEM. It's not a strawman, it actually happens.
You trying to dismiss that to reaffirm the OP is a strawman by pointing out
you're in STEM
has absolutely no relation to it. It's a strawman.
You being in STEM doesn't contradict the fact that Gender Studies women are complaining about the lack of STEM women while refusing to go into STEM themselves.
i'm here to show that's not true
By...showing women in STEM, not Gender Studies, exist?
Which, as was just said, is a strawman. OP never mentioned that women in STEM can't complain.
also the ones complaining
And?
I can complain that more men aren't choosing to take jobs in nursing but I understand that there's nothing keeping them out, certainly not a problem that relates in any way to gender studies. As was pointed out elsewhere in the fact that women in Western countries considered the least sexist and with the most encouragement for women to enter STEM
have the lowest percentages of women entering STEM.
While places like Iran have almost 50/50 split.
You complaining means nothing as well. In fact all you're doing is discouraging women by ending up complaining that women are being discouraged from entering STEM.
