Almost every single large subreddit besides this one is run by SJWs.
/r/The_Donald
is a powerful force like reddit has never seen before and possibly like the internet has never seen before, but we're just one group. Every single other large group that can reliably get publicity is far less offensive than this one--the vast majority being hardcore SJWs. There are SJW default subs and there has always been, even over the course of this election season, a far stronger presence of politically correct subreddits in the public's eye.
We're going to fix that because
/r/The_Donald
has broken through in a way that nobody else ever has.
No subreddit for a right wing or shitlord movement has ever had the reach or exposure that ours has. By sharing information about how to donate blood to those affected by America's worst tragedy since 9/11, we pissed off the admins so badly that they're fundamentally changing the website so that nobody can ever do that again. My personal theory is that the admins want gays to get shot and die. I think the admins stay up at night twitching their fingers and imagining themselves killing gay people.
We're going to build an Empire.
This subreddit was never intended to matter after November but this opportunity is too good.
Other than us, there has always been almost no shit lord presence on
/r/all, relative to the massive representation of SJWs. For fuck's sake, several of them are defaults. With a new algorithm that limits the impact of large subs, we have a beautiful chance to launch a massive fleet of shitlord subreddits that will be run by the finest people with the best ideas. No shitlord will have to out-fox reddit to become a sensation. All they need to do is have a fantastic idea and a commitment to shitlordery, and we'll make sure they share the front page with us.
We're going to do such a good job.
We're going to forge our empire by letting those with fantastic ideas, let us know what kind of communities they want to create. We're going to let them run themselves, but I will personally be open to discuss with them how subs become meaningful and how they win. We will endorse and continually support existing communities who wish to join our movement and who wish to conquer reddit. We will sponsor a multi-reddit to unify our people. My good friend
/u/redpillschool
has even offered to provide us an off-reddit clubhouse where we can mingle and share ideas. We're going to win this one so big and it's going to last so much longer than November.
FAQs:
Will these subreddits be related to Donald Trump?
No.
I don't think that dividing The_Donald into multiple groups is an especially attractive option, nor will it be a productive one. I think doing something like this would be difficult to coordinate and would probably lead to infighting, reposting, or some of them being neglectful. At the very least, it's a giant hassle that'd take the fun right out of shitposting. It'd also be flying too blatantly in the face of Reddit's rules and make it easy to just ban all Trump communities. We may be open to reaching out to certain existing Trump communities if they come to us and discuss a few things, notably I like
/r/The_DonaldUnleashed
since it actually has a different reason for existing than
/r/The_Donald
and I like the guy running it.
What will these communities have in common with Donald Trump?
Absolutely nothing.
This page is two things: It's a Trump group and and internet site. I think that when communities alienate part of their identity (ie S4P being all about real world activism and hardly being a subreddit at all), it seems very forced and it leaves out a lot of things that are important to its constituency. That's why I allow things here like bashing SRS or discussing admin actions, even when Trump probably doesn't care much about that sort of thing. In that theme, this empire building is to appeal to the internet half of our group identity and fix this website with real ideological diversity. I'm already talking to plenty of people about promoting communities that have nothing to do with Donald Trump or even support things that he has not supported, though they will benefit the shitlord movement.
No.
If shitlords are going to takeover and establish themselves, then it's necessary to have communities that can stand on their own and it's necessary to have differing mod philosophies and competing factions to see what's successful. I am going to work extremely hard to make sure that smart people are put in charge and I'm going to be available at all times to these new mods if they've got any questions about how to run a successful subreddit or need advice. I'm not going to be running them though and I don't have plans to ever appear on their modlists.
How will this benefit The_Donald?
Firstly, these communities will hopefully be on good terms with each other and share a lot of subscribers. We'll help each other out and we'll be on the same side of the culture wars. That association inherently brings more exposure to this subreddit and its messages, especially when we funnel enough traffic into these communities that they can hit
/r/all. Secondly, having more platforms and more variation of how to unplug as many people as possible will have a wider reach and grow the number of people who'd be receptive to our message. Third, they will host content that we can't quite host here or that might even be against our rules, but that we still like. Fourth, this cluster of subreddits will be more to talk about for greater reddit, which is going to help people find their way here. Fifth, it adds some permanence to our message. God knows what'll happen to us after November, but this way Centipede culture never needs to die.
