The US is literally one of two countries in the entire world who still use the old imperial system of measurement. It makes perfect sense for this game to use metric. Get over it, basically.

No, you are just a whiny metric system person. Nothing in the metric system makes sense and is only used because nobody wants to learn a new way of learning. Look at temperature. 100-boiling and 0-frozen. Look at the metric system and the numbers don't indicate how they actually feel. And that's just one example.

You realize that your best scientists actually use the metric units in their calculations. The only reason America doesn't change it for every day use is because it would be too expensive.

Nobody owns us. We could pull out of the global economy right now and the world would die. No other country can say that

I agree that America is great in many ways. But we should seriously be teaching ourselves how to use the metric system, even if it isn't the official system of the country. It will make us look far more educated when we visit every other country in the world (except for Liberia and Myanmar).

Can you remember, off the top of your head, how many feet are in a mile? (I know that you could just look it up, since you're connected to the internet, so please be honest)

Most people can't, because it's some random, un-rounded number. Metric system always works in tens, which makes it user-friendly.

Also, Celsius is Metric, right? Kelvin is "Absolute" temperature, and it's only one step away from Celsius, it's just 273 degrees higher. Meanwhile, it's 3-4 steps away from Fahrenheit.

Finally, when Sciencing, people always use the Metric system.

This is why the Metric system is so much better. Oh and I'm an American, I am an Engineer, I work about 50/50 with both units. Your Shop workers, welders, fabricators and builders all use English (aka the non-educated but highly skilled workers.) Where as all the educated people ask for everything in Metric.
