Man, being comfortable with someone you love also means you can sometimes say shit like this. It doesn't mean you don't love and respect them. It means you're comfortable with them enough to know you won't get your ass whooped for saying a wrong thing. Being comfortable with your family is important.

Well, this is gonna devolve into different cultures just bashing each other. Let's just say we all have areas that need improvement.

Not me, bitch im perfabolous

Some cultures have a whole lot more improving to do than others. And a whole lot less blowing up too, if a man may wish.

didnt US police recently blow up someone that was shooting them because he felt marginalized in his society

No, US police recently killed a man who was out to kill people, he wasn't marginalized, he identified entirely with black supremacists and wanted to "kill white people". He successfully killed several white officer and the decision was made to not risk any further life.

Don't you make your mom wear a bed sheet?

Whats wrong with just talking to them like they're people? I love my best friend, but sometimes he needs to be told to just shut up. I think to tiptoe around that and kinda worship someone creates a kind of cold distance that I think is disrespectful.

Even in different parts of America it is nigh unheard of to talk to one's parents like this.

I agree. I love my dad, he is my best friend. We hang out, have inside jokes, and aren't always very cordial with each other. Even growing up as a kid, my dad was my friend as well as my protector and role model. It makes me sad when parents are so distant and cold toward their children, like their parents are untouchable. I see my dad as a human, and I think it's important to see you parents as such.

There was literally just a story of two Arab kids killing there mother it isn't a western thing

I mean, you people literally treat your women like animals. You can't complain

You guys can down vote him however much you want but it's true. Stereotype Arabs all you want, but the amount of respect they give to their parents is leagues ahead of anything I've seen in the US or Canada. Europe does it pretty nicely, though. At least for the countries remaining in the EU

I treat my parents great, its a individual thing not cultural.
