France's Patrice Evra and Paul Pogba take over interview after Germany win
Juventus pair Patrice Evra and Paul Pogba, who are clearly best friends, took the role of interviewers and interviewees on Swiss television on Thursday night, delivering an entertaining exchange in front of the RSI cameras.
Speaking after France's 2-0 win over Germany earned the hosts a place in the Euro 2016 final, Evra was joined by his club teammate, and the pair stole the show.
Pogba: Tell me, what do you think about the game?
Evra: I'm totally proud of all of my teammates, and playing with you -- and you can pay me after the interview -- I'm very happy as I've said, but this is not the end. The end is on Sunday. Paul, after such a win against Germany, the world champions who eliminated our Italy, and we were really sad for our teammates and they asked us to beat Germany and we've done it, what do you want to say?
Pogba: I want to say that I think I felt the energy from all of Italy, from all the people who told us after their game "come on, go out and beat them." That gave us this energy and we did well today, but it's not over yet. I think we've got to win again. It was great to beat Germany, but it's not over and we've got to beat Portugal in the final.
Evra: It's true because even Paul was feeling the pressure of having to go back to [Juve's training centre] Vinovo soon -- to run -- it was important for us to win today to get one extra week off. This was a little message for [Juve coach Massimiliano] Allegri and the fitness coaches. Just one more week...
Pogba: ...without actually saying anything...
Evra: ...without saying anything, we played with this motivation tonight.
