    I walked like 15 minutes round trip to get breakfast this morning and had like 7 encounters.

    San Diego seems to have wild pokemon on every street, and several pokestops and gyms every couple blocks.

    I live in Champaign IL, I only managed to find 2 all day around my apartment, took the bus to campus and caught probably 15 on the trip.

      Where I live the nearest gym is a 10 minute drive, and the nearest pokestop is a 5 minute walk. It could be worse, but it's a little sad to see people who have like 4 gyms on their screen at once. Gyms are the only place to battle your pokemon! I can't do much except catch em all :/

      Consider yourself lucky, my nearest pokestop is 30 minutes away and the closest gym is a hundred miles from me.

      Also I can't hope to catch them all because rural areas have less Pokémon. Also even if I go really far there is no variety in the Pokémon I can see.

      Come to Nantucket. Poke stops are everywhere there is a historical monument. So everywhere. Or if you cannot make it this far go someplace "historic". Learn new things and catch Pokemon.

It also likes to go down, during lunch and right after work, so when I drive to the nearby park... im standing there like duh... while compensation would be nice, I did catch a snorlax while waiting to get my haircut last night thanks to the incense, which seems like a decent compensation anyways.

                                          I think his referencing the CP Reseph. CP stands for Combat Points and basically tell you how strong the pokemon is. For reference when a player starts, most pokemon have 10 CP.

                                                                                            No I dont think it does, but if you throw a curve and catch the pokemon, you get a small bonus amount of XP for the curve.

                                                                                                My Pinsir held a gym overnight for somewhere between zero and five hours (I captured it at midnight and it was taken by 5 AM). My pinsir is 349 and some guy with a 400 something pinsir stomped me and the 200 something raticate that was there with me. Feelsbadman

                                                                                                But I'm on a quest to take over a gym held by a 202 Arbok with my 252 Haunter. So hopefully that goes well.
