I like her paint, but seriously- when has upvotes and downvotes become so important that it's the scale you base your talent off of? Yeah, people here may not like it, people there may love it. That sort of thing shouldn't boost your ego, or bring it down, because, in the end, it's just uninformed bitches clicking arrows according to their mood that day.

I expect Max to be safe in this one though. He's a fair actor- there's certainly worse casting choices on the list, and the black-and-white thing will only work in his favour.

I got you on this one-

There are many rumours surrounding their relationship- overposessiveness, jealously, emotional abuse... but the general gist is that they were partners for about 3 years, and the audition for Drag Race was one that was basically done as a team- MAX was the character, and Danny (boyfriend) directed and edited all his audition tapes, as well as the Dance with U video. He acted as her manager. After Drag Race, when Max was extremely popular, Danny was, reportedly, feeling shafted because Max was getting the attention, but the whole thing was a joint effort.

Later on, when Max wasn't doing as well as the other s7 girls, she said on a periscope that Danny thought of her as a 'failed project'. They stopped making appearances together, and parted ways in September. Many blame him for Max's failure to capitalize on Drag Race, but take it as you will.

Note: the wolf thing was because Danny would make appearances painted as a 'wolf'- like a witch's familiar.

Regarding your thoughts on season 5- Alaska's executive realness was one of my favourite looks in the entire season- it was simple, and told a story. Her 'Sweet 16' look was something that a 16 year old would totally wear. Thus, I think she deserved the win.

On S6- Yeah, Bianca and Trinity should have won that challenge. I personally have no thoughts on the Glitter Ball because I was, frankly, disappointed with every Eleganza look... it could have been anyone's game (except Darienne's...).

Nice idea, but the thing is, most of us don't have spare money that we can just throw at random projects. The circumstances are important, and the quality of the pitch has to get us interested in the content.

She started the campaign before Drag Race, but got a rabid fan base from the show: tons of exposure+winning RPDR+giving a good pitch=cash. And even then, Bianca didn't quite reach 100,000, but she still delivered.

If she made the original goal something like $2-3000, then maybe people would be more open to donating. Having such a high goal makes people think that it's not worth donating to, because the goal would, logically, never be reached, and thus any money donated would not actually be used for the final project.

Other girls wanted funding for their projects, and they got it, because they had things going for them: Bob got funding because his budget wasn't outrageous, and he had just won RPDR and had tons of exposure and interest, as well as gathering private funding. Max got funding because the goal was low and she was a fan fav from a recent season, and she's smart enough to know that her fan base would be willing to donate. Bebe got funding because the goal was low enough, and we had indication on the content of her album based on the music that she has released in the past.

Tyra doesn't have a solid fan base, her goal is too high, she didn't give us a sample of what we are donating towards, and any exposure she got from RPDR is little to none now, 7 years on. There's no mystery as to why she won't even gather 10% of her goal- she has nothing going for her. Not to mention her last kickstarter was a shitshow...
