No refund needed or expected from me. People try and fail and try and succeed. I hope you will focus more on those that love and support you rather than those that send you hate. We supported this project because it is a great project. Look for the silver lining, look at all you have learned, then focus on your next project. I hope to be able to see more of your art in the future. There is sunshine above the clouds. -

This the 2nd, out of 50+ kickstarters, that hasn't followed through. I don't actually expect to see a refund, and am sad that this deck won't be created for any of us.
Every backer here believed this deck needed to be in existence. It's unfortunate that it won't be.
Depression is a nasty business. -

Please do not even think about refunding my donation. I want you to have it, especially if it will ease the stress and anxiety you are under right now. I know what you're going through and I empathize. I'm still behind you, I care about you and your well-being. Refund the squawkers if you must, but I'm serious. I don't want the money back. So there. ;P
Please do something for yourself. Be nice and especially talk nice to yourself. You aren't a failure, you are realistic. And one day, you will be able to complete this and then I will cheer you on. -

I've been there and you have my deepest sympathies. Don't worry about my refund. Please focus on looking after yourself.Try to be kind to yourself. Please try to remember that depression lies to us. I've never met you, but I'm sure you are a wonderful person. -

Hey, please don't worry about my refund. I have lost my money on ALL projects I backed without ever having got anything back. At least you are being open and honest about it.
Please do not think you are a failure. This project failed, and your art is not an issue, it is fantastic. Making ends meet is a struggle so many have gone through before, and surprisingly few get through it.
You did your very best, and I appreciate your idea and your ambition. A lot. Who knows, maybe one day, when luck turns, you might try again.
I don't have a clue why anyone should harass you for this, but hey, I'm sure they've never failed in their entire life, right? Idiots.
Please take heart. And I don't want my money back. All the best for you! -

Hey, I saw your update, your apology. I had no idea you were fighting against so many things, the haters, the logistics, even your own injuries. I don't know how much this means since I'm just a stranger on the internet, but I'm proud of you. You kept fighting, which is hard enough even when things are working out, it's nigh-impossible when they aren't. And now here you are, continuing to work and fight, not even for your project, but for *us*.I can't speak for everyone, but for my part, I wasn't backing you like I was paying for a product at a store. I backed you because I believe in what you stand for and care about, and I still do. I don't want my refund back. In fact my first impulse was to try to send you more money, so that you could use the extra to help pick yourself up and keep going. I don't want you to pay us all back and disappear. I want you to keep fighting. And maybe for now that means laying low and taking care of yourself. And prioritizing your health and well-being over completing a project. And that's completely fine. There's never any shame in doing what you need to to survive, because sometimes mere survival is a fight unto itself.I only know of you what I've seen in this campaign, but I know you will do great things someday. Maybe not for a while, and that's fine, but you'll get there. And I still want to do whatever I can to help you do it. I don't just support this project, I support *you*. Your followers are here. We'll be ready and waiting for you whenever you need us. <3 -

No updates since February and here it is almost the end of June. Any update is better than none, Kiva. -

Not sure why we don't have any updates at all. You've been very active on Twitter, but can't be bothered to post a single entry here in SIXTEEN WEEKS?I don't want to believe it, but your lack of communication is leading to me agreeing with Amanda Bell. -

An update -- no matter what the message -- would be really appreciated.I've backed 27 projects including this one, and the *WORST* ones by far were the ones where the creator(s) posted very few updates, who went weeks or even MONTHS without posting anything. The best KS I backed had the creators post an update every Wednesday, rain or shine. Sometimes the update was, "Sorry, nothing new to report, but we're still working!" and sometimes it was more detailed. But it was always there. If there is bad news (i.e., "I've been too busy to work on this lately," etc) then share it; we'll understand. Don't worry about hurting anyone's feelings, but please post something. Thanks -

I've contacted her on Facebook and she sees the messages, as Facebook time stamps. I wonder why they aren't being completed. -

I was hoping to give this deck to my granddaughter for Christmas, but that wasn't to be. Now I'm hoping for her birthday, around the last of March. Is there any hope? -

I'm excited for this project, but think that Rowdy Rieko makes a good point. I'd love to hear your response. -

I've become a little concerned about a couple people included in the list. Someone mentioned some troubling things about srhbutts as well as Arthur Chu... Which I've looked into a bit and while I'm suspicious of some of the spin given to remarks that may have been out of context, there's still some troubling things that appear to be confirmed... Please clarify... -

Congratulations on reaching your funding, I’m happy that the valuable project will happen. It’s great to see feminists getting support like this which is usually so lacking by the media. However as a full bodied feminist I do have some issues with the artistic representation of these amazing people. As you may know for around a month feminists such as myself have been campaigning against Protein World and their sexist body shaming ‘Beach Body Ready’ ads. In light of this I am disappointed in the artistic representations you have chosen.Almost all women are drawn with an idealized body shape instead of a realistic one. For example I have seen your artwork for Ashley Lynch and Randi Harper and have questioned why you aren’t spreading body positivity by truly depicting their actual size instead of downsizing them to an unrealistic size six. Given our extreme chastising of Protein World it would seem somewhat hypocritical for us to avoid giving proper representation of larger feminists in favour of Lara Croftian dimensions. This does make me concerned for some of the other cards that will come out. Will Bob Chipman and Arthur Chu be represented as slim and muscular? Will they receive a similar transformation as some others had to the point they may be unrecognizable? I think your work is amazing but I am concerned that by drawing everyone as a thinner, prettier representation of themselves that we’re abandoning the values of our body acceptance movement. You may be drawing an unrealistic standard of beauty that is unobtainable. I would hate to see it argued that these more attractive interpretations are objectifying women. Thank you. -

Some of the options mention $5 to ship outside the US, others only mention Mexico and Canada. Are you shipping to the UK and if so how much should I add to cover shipping? Currently I'm only backing at the digital tier but I'd love to have a playable deck as an add on. -

Hi there! Love this project, have a question -I pledged 35 but I selected the $15 deck suitable for playing cards because I had an inkling that some decks aren't playing card decks? Is that correct or am I just being dense? I really want a bridge-playing pack (2 decks) and I'm happy to increase my pledge to get that. I wasn't sure if the 35 reward for two decks was two card-playable decks or what. Just let me know what pledge I should go for to get two playable decks and I'll do it! :) Thanks for doing this! -

This project is awesome. I am so excited you are getting close to your goal. I had been meaning to back it for a while and I had a major reminder when The Mary Sue posted that article yesterday. I'm glad you exist! -

Do you have any plans to add some of these products as add-ons? I would really like to add the comic book onto my pledge level. -
