And that's fine if the obstacles in your life are unexpected random misfortunes like sickness or an accident, but when you're set back from the get-go because of generations of systematic oppression and manipulation then I think it's fair to be able to complain and it's OK to need a little extra help.

It's the difference between complaining a foot race is unfair because you tripped and fell and complaining it's unfair because you had to start a yard behind everyone and have to carry extra weight.
