As a feminist, every time the cis male scum tries to assert their "dominance" over me, it triggers my Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that I received after once seeing the wage gap. Naturally, the wage gap is one of my triggers.

What is a good way to handle a potentially triggering situation?

Best thing to do is check yourself into a mental institution. Plenty of safe spaces with padded walls and all the medication you can handle to keep all those nasty triggers at bay.
