Well Hollywood has to keep reminding everyone that its the White man that's the true evil in this world.

Poor oppressed white people :(

Yes, making a film about nazi terrorists is more racist against white people than anything, really.

No no, don't you get it. Its ok to fuck with white people now because something something privilege and these losers prove that its all about revenge disdain and revenge to them.

Lol are you aware that you're the one perceiving the film about Nazis as an attack against white people?

Yes, bringing around the mythical modern day neo-Nazi for the regularly scheduled 15 minutes of hate is practically anti-white propaganda from hollyweird at this point.

the regularly scheduled 15 minutes of hate

what?

I was referring to the 2 minutes of hate from the novel 1984.

Read 1984, you'll find many parallels with today's world.

I was being sarcastic you nutter. Are you saying that hating nazis is bad?

No, what I am saying is that bringing around the mythical modern day neo-Nazi for the regularly scheduled 15 minutes of hate is practically anti-white propaganda from hollyweird at this point.

I just don't understand why all cishet white men aren't already killing themselves.

Don't you see how a comment like that is extremely hypocritical if you've ever claimed to be against racism?

Poor oppressed black people :(

Poor oppressed Muslims :(

Poor oppressed Jews :(

Or do you believe you can't be racist against whites?

Of course you can be racist against white people. But this is not an example of anti-white racism. Feeling oppressed because of a movie about Neo-Nazis is a bit ridiculous.

Well, Liberalguy123, this is certainly not the first film where white people are cast in a negative light and I'm sure you'd agree. If this was a film about black nationalists and it insinuated they were violent in any form there would be huge backlash. There are many types of oppression and near-propaganda pieces like this can be considered such to anyone if you imagine their skin being a different colour. Think to all the propaganda the Nazis put out about Jews, is that not oppression?

Except there are tons of movies where every single race is cast in a negative light. But they aren't cast in a light because of their race. These "white people" are in a negative light because they're you know, nazis. Just as the muslims in american sniper are cast in a negative light because they're terrorists, or just as a villain in a film is cast in a negative light not because he is black, but because he is the antagonist. Why are you surprised the antagonist in the film is portrayed negatively? Don't you think it's odd that it bothers you solely because the antagonist is white? Come on dude.

But they aren't cast in a light because of their race.

This film is literally about casting white people in a negative way because of their race. Noticed some of the symbolism in the trailer? There were Polish flags, why? Isn't that a bit discriminatory of Polish people? there was a libertarian flag, why would you lump libertarians with nazis? A picture of Hitler next to Jesus? That's just comical.

It does bother me a bit, yes. Am I not allowed to be bothered?

I don't know why that upsets you, that's all pretty common shit for neo-nazis, why would that not be a part of a film about neo nazis? Should they not make movies about neo nazis because white people might be thought about negatively? Should we stop making films about gangs and middle eastern conflict as well? Why do you feel this way?

It upsets me because this film is made to look like it's non-fiction and this is what is happening typically across the country, when it isn't. When's the last time you heard of a neo-nazi terrorist attack? It just doesn't happen. Hollywood should tackle bigger problems with the tag "based on a true story". Not this flick appealing to emotion designed to get people to think "wow white people sure can be evil!"

Black nationalism has been dead for decades, but white nationalism is in a renaissance in the US and throughout Europe.

But even if there were a movie about black nationalism and it received backlash, that wouldn't mean it's okay for this movie to be called oppressive against white people. I think both parties complaining in those cases would be wrong. Making movies about radical organizations is not oppressive to all members of an ethnic group or religion.

After all, Hollywood makes dozens of movies about Islamic terrorism. But you wouldn't call that oppressive propaganda against all Muslims, would you?

Simply not true. Look at black lives matter.

It's really not about just this one film, it's about the countless films that just keep pushing the narrative that white people are inherently evil.

I disagree that BLM is a black nationalist movement, or that it's anywhere near as big as white nationalist movements. But even if it were, is that the only part of my comment that you read?

Name white nationalist movement bigger than BLM. And if BLM isn't black nationalist why it completely about african ethnocentrism? BLM have recently started shutting down gay pride parades if you haven't heard. Bit terroristy if you ask me.
